I doubt a little the product, but it reassures the guests (who say they don't like the taste of tap water). Here it's a batch of 50 pearls, we put up to 10 in a bottle of 1l and it's supposed to remove the limestone. After 3 months of use, I did not see any difference. But it reassures the guests...Note: Sometimes they break in my bottle and get stuck at the neck! The cat likes to play with them...

These ceramic beads are easy to use and pretty. But having a gravity water filter, I wonder about their ability to really purify water

First time that I use this kind of natural "toothbrush", stick a little wet, must chew the end to be able to begin to brush the teeth. Small impression of lightening of the teeth, has to see in the time if that accentuates. leave the stick in its case and close again well after use so that it does not dry.

It is good but I think that it should not be used every day. I followed the instructions well but it does hurt even if you don't press it. Otherwise it comes with a nice storage bag which is convenient in case of transport.

It is a fibrous root whose use for the cleaning of the teeth is practised since... The advantages: it is a root, thus a plant which grows, that one cultivates. Of course, it occupies a piece of land, but it is not a derivative of petroleum, like bamboo toothbrushes with NYLON bristles! Nylon is neither biodegradable nor ecological. Here, with this root, we are in the ecological. And better that it is bio, since moreover one puts it in his mouth.emballage individual, under vacuum. Ah, well one is not better than with the toothbrushes in bamboo with nylon hairs finally. Maybe even worse, considering the quantity of plastic.for the zero waste, you will repasserez! You just have to put a piece in your mouth, to chew hardly, just enough to moisten the bark of the root, which at the beginning has kept its moisture, pinch with the teeth a half to one centimeter of the end, pull to remove the bark on this part. Then we re-paste a little more to undo the fibers of the root and make a pluck with which we will come to clean the teeth. To remove the residues between the teeth, the dental plaque, it is perfect. Better than a toothbrush, even than electric ones. When you pass your tongue over your teeth after brushing them, you can feel if the enamel is smooth under your tongue (good brushing) or not (well, bad brushing = plaque and other oral pleasures that can be treated at the dentist's, so you start again). With this root brush, we rub effectively, and the teeth are well cleaned (and yes, they are smooth).to the taste, well, yuck, it is not the foot, but it is not infamous either. If you like black radish, you won't be disappointed. When you use it, rinse the root and the brush after use, and let it dry to avoid any strange culture. When the brush is no longer effective, cut the end cleanly with a knife and start chewing again to remove the bark of the root... Reproach: how to rub the teeth inside the mouth? Because the outside and the flat of the molars is easy. I couldn't find a better way than to cut a small piece of the root to be able to take it in and clean from the inside of the mouth. Vertically we don't do the job.Whitening teeth: no, it won't change the color of the enamel, you have to stop with that. An alternative toothbrush, far from being ecological in its current packaging!

These siwak sticks are easy to use, ecological and economical. You just have to cut the stick on 1 cm, moisten it and rub it on your teeth. I notice a whiteness and cleanliness effect after use. It is useful during hikes for example, but it does not replace a real brushing. They can be useful in addition to the daily brushing.

This stuff is a great alternative to the dodgy plastic filters of conventional carafes. It has the advantage of being transparent and natural. Less scale, it's certain, you can see it very quickly. As for the rest, it's hard to judge but, in any case, you can see that the water is less loaded with chlorine and therefore certainly more pure. In any case, especially for a kettle, where limescale deposits quickly occur, it can't hurt, on the contrary. But of course this also applies to jugs, water bottles, etc., especially as they are very easy to use.

Very good alternative to the toothbrush. It is easy to use and lasts a long time. I don't appreciate its taste though, which I find quite unpleasant, but it takes time to get used to it. My husband likes it and is not bothered at all.it is ecological, big black point on the other hand for the individual plastic packaging for each of the sticks, it is much less ecological!

Ceramic beads to put in water to purify the taste and reduce limescale deposits.easy to use, just put them in the water and wait at least 10 minutes (or more for better efficiency).I admit that the water tastes a little better.Instead of cleaning my kettle every 5 uses, I was able to last 15 days without having too many deposits. On the other hand, I have no scientific way to check the level of limescale.Multiple uses and almost unlimited lifePrice reasonable.

18 Sticks of Siwak (natural toothbrush) of the brand ORINKO well received.the origins of the use of Siwak would go back to 7000 years! It is not yet the plastic toothbrushes that pollute ...100% natural, this toothbrush is perfect for a back-up brushing after lunch break, on an express trip or even as a daily toothbrush.I'm not a big fan of the taste of the bark around but when we are on the inner fiber part, it looks a bit like licorice stick. It is easy to cut and a stem holds quite a long time.Too bad to have made individual plastic bags for the sticks. We were almost at fault for the whole product.this is a product that I recommend and I hope will become more common over time.

To prevent the damage caused by limescale in tap water, both for your health and that of your appliances, which rely on it for their operation, these pearls are essential and their large number is very appreciable.

So, to follow the instructions: I peeled with a peeler the skin to leave about 1cm of stick without bark. Then, I chewed it to soften the fibers: it has a little salty taste, not unpleasant but surprising (I expected maybe a licorice taste, like the licorice sticks to chew, lol).once the fibers are softened, you just have to rub your teeth from top to bottom for 5mn, and to rinse the stick with water once finished. It is necessary to rewet the stick before each brushing.so already, 5 minutes of brushing, it is long! Compared to the 2 minutes for a classic brushing or with an electric toothbrush... there is no saving of time, on the contrary. No need of toothpaste: better than for the classic brushing.Freshens the breath: it's true, but it also works with a classic toothpaste.Whitens the teeth: not sure, to be seen on the long term.Reusable: when the fibers are damaged, there is only to cut the damaged part, and to reproduce the operation of the beginning. But it still costs 25€! It's maybe a lot to spend at once (that said, if you buy an electric toothbrush, you can explode the budget!).Alternative to the toothbrush: there, I am less sure. Indeed, if it is easy to use it for the front teeth from top to bottom, it is much more difficult to make the back teeth, the back of the teeth, and the top.the classic toothbrushes have all the fibers on the side, and not at the end, which is not a chance. So, my opinion: it does not completely replace the toothbrush, but it is a good complement in alternation, or in breakdown service when one is in displacement, it is very well. In massage of the gums also, that can make them good. It can also amuse your kids (if they don't mind the taste), but you still have to teach them to brush the back of their teeth and the top.

I was a bit skeptical but it does the job, it's quite efficient although I'm still a fan of the electric toothbrush. I'm not ready to adopt it exclusively for brushing but it is true that it must be quite acceptable. An interesting alternative.

It's new, it's green but I'm still very skeptical! It feels like a Koh Lanta moment when you rub your teeth with these little pieces of wood! Once the twig is a bit sharp, you have to chew it to separate the filaments. The taste is strange but not strong. The filaments rub well on the surface of the teeth and they stay smooth afterwards. I find that these Siwak sticks offer a nice alternative as a backup. At work, before a meeting, it's always useful to know that we don't have a food stuck without our knowledge. A quick brushing and that's it... My teeth have not whitened as advertised...

I used pearls for the first time a few months ago.I was not at all convinced of the efficiency but the comments seemed very positive.I changed my carafe filter against a dozen pearls ... and the water has indeed found a pleasant taste (as with the carafe, but cheaper!) These pearls are similar to my first and work as well. These pearls are similar to my first ones and work just as well. I have noticed a reduction in the taste of chlorine and a little less limescale deposit. On the other hand, the other allegations (dynamization of water, purification and other pleasures) that we sometimes meet for this type of product (but not for this one), are not based on anything scientific. Even the work of the Japanese Professor Teruo Higa (quoted on the manufacturer's website) could never be confirmed! In any case, these pearls do no harm and cost less than carafes filters, so it's very good, especially since the manufacturer is not stingy with its pearls (32 instead of 30 in the box!)

I'm a big fan of Binchotan, those special pieces of charcoal that purify tap water. And it really works. The water tastes good, no more chlorine smell, you just have to wait a few hours. I use these, and others, from Japanese oak. I prefer the oak... hard to say, the oak seems more 'powerful'. Otherwise, very happy with these

The use and the life span has already been detailed in the other commentsSome points1/ very good the mini paper doc not to let us down the 1st time we use2/ sometimes we already have filtration systems for viruses and bacteria but the activated carbon systems allow to add 2 things: absorb bad smells and fix heavy metals +/- drugs (they manage chemical pollution and neutrality of the taste but not at all bacterial pollution) They are thus to be used- either in complement of the already drinkable water of your tap (of which you do not like the taste and/or problem of persistent chemical pollution)- or on a water which you already got rid of its germs (virus bacterium) with a passive filter for example (the berkeley etc) or with another method (uv, chemical etc) but without having a carbon filter: it will then be complementaryProduct which comes from far away so ecological cost to be taken into accountEconomic blow also if it is used on the long term: for those which do not know it, if it is only chlorine which disturbs you, to let rest water before drinking it is enough to drive out the taste of it, not needing carbon or other carafes so-called filtering

I have been using ceramic beads in the water tank of my coffee machine for some time now and I am very satisfied with them. I am now considering using them in the isothermal carafe that I use daily for my drinking water, the only small problem is to be careful not to pour the pearls into the glass when serving yourself a drink.

These ceramic beads work very well. I use them mainly for my tea machine and my coffee machine to neutralize limescale. Until now, I used a limestone filter, I now only use these beads and I am satisfied. I have put fifteen of them in the bottom of each tank and indeed I have almost no traces of limescale.on the other hand the delivery is to be reviewed, the pearls were loose at the bottom of the envelope with the open cardboard box. And above all it lacked a small fabric bag to allow use in the dishwasher.it's a bit of a shame! Interesting quality-price ratio given the number of pearlsDimension of the pearls: length 12 mm, diameter 9 mm, inner diameter 3 mm

I admit that I was a little skeptical, but finally it works. Before the first use, you will have to boil it, then wait a good ten minutes before putting it in a water carafe. Wait then between 4 and 8 hours.the first ones, we don't feel too much the difference, but after a month, and after a second passage in the kettle, indeed, the taste is not the same one as with the one of the tap.On the other hand, no, it is not really effective against the limestone.I use the water filtered with this charcoal for my kettle and, even if I have to clean it a little less often, there is still limestone that settles.6 months life stick, to be boiled every month.Correct price (6 sticks, 3 years of use). The sticks are biodegradable, if you have a compost you can put them in.1In short, a nice discovery.

I am quite satisfied with my purchase. The bag contains 4 sticks of Binchotan. It turns out that they are authentic, to do the test, just tap 2 sticks to hear a metallic noise. The yellow sticker proves its authenticity, the water loses the taste of tap water (limestone and chlorine) without removing all the nutrients because the binchotan releases nutrients good and necessary for our health.I just think it's a pity that the 3 sticks are not of similar sizes: There are 2 sticks of size M and one very small one (more adapted to a bottle of 1L rather than 1l5). To reactivate it, boil it in water during 15 minutes, as soon as you feel that the water loses in quality.

I bought the ceramic pearls in order to discover this new product.the returns being still a little weak on internet I decided to test by myself.the pearls arrive in a small bag I used the pearls in my water carafe, in the tank of the coffeemaker and in the kettle. The taste of the water is really different I live in a city where the tap water is very chlorinated and the taste is no longer there after putting the pearls. For the coffee maker and the kettle the pearls do not remove the limestone but the deposit and the white traces are almost non-existent.I am convinced and I will repurchase some.
