It was a first order and everything was in accordance, both on the whole fresh truffle and on the pieces. Texture, color, fragrance, everything was perfect. The delivery was also perfectly managed, on time and with the friendliness of the delivery person (that's normal, it's in Savoie ;)). Well, my truffle was not exceptional, yet I did what was necessary to keep it well preserved, paper towel, airtight box, paper towel changed every day, so maybe I missed something? In any case, no more smell for New Year's Eve.

You indeed applied the correct preservation practices (absorbent paper, airtight box, daily change of the paper towel). Despite this, the truffle remains an extremely fragile and living product, whose aroma can evolve very quickly, sometimes even when all recommended precautions are followed, particularly depending on its ripeness at the time of harvest.
It is possible that the truffle reached its aromatic peak before the tasting date, which may explain the loss of smell observed. Each truffle being unique, these variations unfortunately remain possible.
We understand your disappointment, especially in a festive context, and wish to discuss with you to better understand your situation and offer you an appropriate solution.

Everything went well, the products are good except for the foie gras in a jar, it has no taste, too bad I am disappointed with this product. On the other hand, the other foie gras is good with flavor. I won't buy the first one in a jar again. I remain happy with everything else. Thank you Plantin for your gesture. Following a delivery problem with Chronofresh, for unknown reasons, I could not receive my truffle in time for my meal. Customer service (Laurent) was very kind to resend the order within 24 hours and offered a nice gift voucher as a bonus. The truffles were still and always excellent. Thank you
