I've already ordered truffles several times online and this time I'm very disappointed, especially as I'd opted for the EXTRA quality. The smell was fine, but the taste was very disappointing considering the price. And the packaging wasn't exceptional either. For the same price or even less, I can find it in shops in Belgium. DON'T FORGET YOUR TYPE OF PRODUCT.

The term "extra" simply refers to the visual aspect of the truffle, which must be round and regular enough to be defined as an extra quality truffle. In no way does this affect the taste and fragrance of the fresh truffle. Packaging is the most conventional for fresh truffles. It's all about keeping the product, which is perishable, in suitable packaging for transport, nothing more. The products are very good, with no surprises. The delivery, unfortunately, again without surprise since Chronopost, catastrophic. Parcel supposed to be delivered at home dropped off at a parcel relay with no explanation, of course at a time when the parcel relay was closed. Chronopost never ceases to innovate in mediocrity.

I ordered a 50g Périgord black truffle I was disappointed with the product because apart from the smell the taste was not there no or little flavour As well in a brouillade as in a thin slice on bread I contacted PLANTIN who replied that the truffles were not yet ripe and that the taste might not be there He offered me a voucher worth 50% Usable before the end of February Commercial action I nevertheless give 4 stars for responsiveness and delivery

The truffles were good. The only downside was the delivery! Chronofreche were two days late in delivering and I even had to pick them up myself from the depot on the third day! Unacceptable! Plantin has nothing to do with it, but it's up to you to pass on our dissatisfaction. Sincerely

The package arrived but, contrary to the very clear instructions about the recipient, it was delivered to a person in the apartment building where I live, NOT designated by me as recipient or substitute ! I remember that there is privacy ! But the worst thing is that the person to whom my order was left, delivered it to my partner, thus ruining my surprise for Christmas! A total disaster! As for the condition of the contents, I still don't know, because the package will be opened on Christmas Day...at least that!!!
