unfortunately the solution protube has for the index is not particularly compelling. the cups for the quest that came with my vrml Phoenix stock (one of the giveaways) feel and look fantastic. Unfortunately when it comes to the index cups, the print quality is pretty poor with little bits of filament not properly adhered and layer lines which are quite ugly (especially on the flexible bits). This would be an easy detail to look past if I was satisfied for how these cups work with the index knuckles controllers. unfortunately they feel strange because of the way the mount is offset from the cups and no matter what i did it felt like i couldnt get these cups to easily mount to the stock. Beyond this, the cups themselves are scary to put on and leave scratches on the capacitive finger tracking grip of the index which is just too much of a risk than im willing to take especially with valve discontinuing manufacture of index and its associated products.

I was happy enough with the bits I ordered but not with the customer service I recieved when asking what I should do as 2 of my butterflly parts have broken and when I look at your web site it says they are expensive and to contact customer service which I have done twice now with no reply, I was also going to ask for a few more ridged washers or whatever they are called and some o-rings to give my protube carbom a bit of a service

We have instructions and tips and tricks available in the tutorials section of our website and various channels of our discord server. We always recommend using products in their intended way and to follow the instructions for installing controllers and general use.
The controllers are held in by friction, and it is recommended to wipe them down before inserting into the mounts. If using SWINGiT or ProSaber, regularly inspect the controllers and push them in again as far as you can to ensure maximum friction. When used correctly, controllers should not easily fly out.
Lastly, all our mounts come with a black insert layer that protects the controller from the rough interior of the mount, and helps produce maximum friction. If for whatever reason your mount is missing this insert, the controller will not stay in place as intended. If you reach out through support on the website we send a replacement ASAP covered by warranty.

It is indeed on our side that it is lacking. The current lateral option allows you to choose between left hand or right hand, but not the complete pair. The product works, and really is adding experience towards some games. Only downsides are the customer service is not responding to my messages. Also the app seems to be popping up in my screen when playing - which can be annoying. And also the provolver seems to switch off itself when the battery is around 20% It seems the product could be improved. Especially for almost 400 euros.

When you reach out to support, make sure to check your spam folder for responses. We respond to support tickets typically within 1 working day. If you do not receive a response after 2 days, don't hesitate to reach out again, or ask in our discord server. Consider using the general form below instead, and using an alternative e-mail address. Very rarely, for whatever reason, our responses are denied and do not go through. We do everything we can to get in touch with customers when this happens, but there is a limit to what we can do with the information we are provided by the customer.
Regarding the app popping up on screen when playing, the customer is referring to our Steam Companion App, showing up in their SteamVR view when playing a game. To solve this you go into SteamVR settings and disable theater mode for non VR apps. As SteamVR updates over time, the location, and name, of this setting has changed and may change again. This is not an issue with our app specifically, but an option within SteamVR itself the user can enable or disable.
At low % battery the device will not function as intended. At 20% (I think starting at 25%?) the LED changes from green to red to rapidly blinking red. At this state, it is recommended to charge back up again before continued use to avoid encountering the issues described by customer.

I still can't get this thing to pair with compatible games or use the compatability app!!! Frustrating ,it should pair easily with compatible games instead having to turn off headset. ,reboot,etc A whole ritual just to get it to pair! Im really disapointed !!!I shouldn't have purchased!!!

We have extensive documentation, tutorials, and instructions, and lists of supported games users can access to learn how to use their product, and get up and running in a simple and straightforward manner. These are available in our tutorials, on our subreddit, and in our discord server. The behavior mentioned above is not normal. Make sure to follow the instructions to set it up correctly. On low charge it does not function as intended. On PC, Bluetooth connection issues are the primary cause for issues.
There are over 60 supported titles across multiple platforms that have native support for our haptic devices (ProVolver, ForceTube). The list is available on our website, our subreddit, and our discord server. We highly recommend looking through the list before purchasing to know what games are supported. In addition to the supported games, our Steam Companion App SteamVR compatibility feature offers basic functionality in all OpenVR titles on Steam.

the MagTube VR gunstock was a great purchase. I'm able to configure it to how i want and need for the games i play. My only issue is how the controller mount bracket magnetizes to the stock, the angle mounts make it impossible to switch hands for games like Paintball which was the main reason i bought it

It broke twice within a month. The first time was when controller was removed from handle that the handle casing broke. Thankfully the part I needed that time. The second time my buddy got it snagged on his charging people while he was using it and it split the entire main part of the provolver gun stock. It was not covered under warranty and I have to pay over $100 if I wanted fixed now. Not pleased. Build quality should be of thicker material. I wouldn't mind the extra weight to have a better build quality.

This product shouldn't be allowed to be marketed towards Valve Index users. The recoil and haptic effect from the provolver cause the sensitive valve index controllers to misinterpret the movement as sudden movements of the hands, making first person shooters useless. You can imagine your hands all of a sudden moving 10-100cm while holding a rifle suddenly. Doesn't make for a lot of fun. The company blames Valve but the Valve controllers only work as they were designed to, being very sensitive pieces of equipment. Steer clear if you're a Valve Index user.
