I was so anxious to receive my order and at the same time I was afraid of being disappointed. My order took a long time to arrive. More or less a month between the time I ordered it and the time I received it. As soon as I got it, I wanted to reassure myself that it was fine and that all the games were working well... I was pleasantly surprised and all my doubts vanished. Since then, I've been rediscovering the games of my childhood and so much more. It's a real nugget. I ordered a RetroBox 8 and I'm totally delighted! A real museum of video games at home! Once you've unpacked the box, all you have to do is plug in the hardware (I'm not very good at this myself, but I can tell you it's really very simple) and you can start playing straight away. Of course, I haven't had time to test everything yet, but almost all the games I've tried so far work perfectly. And if I have any problems or questions, the after-sales service has been very professional and responsive. The interface, already well optimized, is very ergonomic and customizable. Numerous settings can be made, for example, to make recalcitrant games work (change emulator, change resolution, etc.). In addition, several sorting and search tools are available (filters by name, year or system, as well as automatic or editable collections) to help you navigate through an ocean of games. Every time I searched for a particular game, I found it! What a pleasure to be able to replay all the games of my youth! And, icing on the cake, many of the games are in French. In a nutshell! I can only recommend this product, which is well worth the price! Bravo and thanks to the Retrogaming Boutique team for all their hard work!

Having discovered on a Facebook post I first made a "small" purchase to see if there was no scam. THERE IS NO SCAM. I bought the big console and it paid for itself very quickly. I ordered a hard drive from Boutique Retrogaming. The hard disk was very badly packed (a simple black film) and arrived defective. The same day I notified the after-sales service, which took 10 days to get back to me. Following a video showing the problem, I was authorized to return the faulty product at my own expense. With no news for a month, after a reminder, the after-sales service told me: "Your hard drive arrived in the workshop broken..., your hard drive is out of warranty, it will be returned to you within a week." I've paid 300 euros, received a faulty product and they're implying that I've damaged it, even though I reported it on the day I received it. Point to remember: they respond 1 time out of 10. You are responsible for faulty products, as the customer must be dishonest. The company is registered in Bulgaria, which allows them to behave as they please. For other customers, the CEC can help you initiate a complaint on a foreign site.

I had to contact customer service several times. Order arrived late. No commercial gesture to apologize ... the person I had on line several times was however friendly. We're still a long way from Amazon customer service.

Great console, highly recommend to any retro gaming fans out there. If you live in the UK then there is 20% VAT to pay when it passes through customs, DHL contact you for payment so best to be aware of this upfront. Still well worth the cost, great value for money - They also have a discord channel you can join where you can get quick answers to any queries or just chat to other gamers. I'm off to carry on rediscovering all my old favourite games now :)
