GPI Case's multidirectional cross is defective The tested emulators work, but it's the case's assembly that is defective. Indeed, the space around the multidirectional cross is too big and the assembly is shaky, even defective. So, as soon as you are on a game and you press down, your character can go down to the right or to the left without you realizing it. This sensitivity of the cross limits the pleasure you can have when playing, or annoys you and you don't find the handling of a Game Boy. Very disappointing considering the price.

The madness of grandeur. The package took a while to arrive but that's due to the epidemic, it's already good to have maintained the deliveries. Another flaw that is much more annoying is the way emulators work. If most of them work well and recalbox offers many welcome options, the Arcade, Neo Geo, and Game Boy advance emulators (I didn't test all of them) work very badly! The sound saturates horribly, the games raaaaaaaaament to death and there is a lot of tearing and other image defects. I'm not sure I'd have expected any more optimization, at least for the must-have games (MarioKart Gba is unplayable, although I don't think it's very demanding). Given the number of games on offer, I expected this kind of malfunction, but what a shame not to have ensured that a minimum of classic games (which are sure to be launched by anyone who lays their hands on the console). Which leads us to wonder why they put so many games on the console, even though some of them don't work. It's the very philosophy of the product that poses a problem, namely offering a ton of games, even if it means offering several iterations of the same sports game (which isn't very interesting), without worrying about whether the selection is relevant and above all functional! When you start up the console, you're faced with a mountain of games that you know you'll never get to play, and most of which aren't very interesting (a lot of Atari games, even though we know that this console is known for its games, which are all similar and not very original, unless you're an Atari fan...). The selection contains hack roms, french translations of japanese games, rare games, which allows to discover interesting games. -All the games are very well scrapped, it's very pleasant to scroll through the games and the covers in the menu, we really have the feeling to be in a museum and to face a part of the video game heritage (which seems to be the promise of the product) -Most of the emulators (up to 16 bits consoles) work very well and Recalbox offers very interesting options like a backup system for the games that don't have any (i.e. a lot). -The plug and play promise is well respected, you turn it on, everything is in place, hardware and software (except for some emulators as I said). -If the selection of games poses some problems, it must be recognized that it is also the ideal way to discover gems, randomly, at the bend of a menu, to play retro games other than the endless classics that everyone knows. It's possible to become a real explorer of video game history and to start exploring this gigantic video library. In short, I'm quite disappointed that the promise of being able to play the neo geo and the GBA on a portable console is not kept, if someone has a solution I'm a taker. An interesting object but one that would gain so much from being more polished.

The experience was not very pleasant due to a very long delay in the reception, two weeks for a reason that I don't know. I had to call the shopkeeper several times to get some news which did not really reassure me. In the end, I received my package without knowing what had happened (forgotten in the shipment, lost package??...). Well, apart from that, the packaging is very good, everything is well packaged and the few tests made (little time since I returned to work after this long wait) are conclusive and the product is of good quality ... I recommend the proposed products for the one who wants to make a retro cure!!!

To date still no confirmation of sending the sd card while the first collection has a code error (incomplete file). I would have put "good" but just a few details have made the score drop a little. 1) due to a supply problem of their components, my order arrived more than two weeks later. It doesn't really bother me if the sales department would have contacted me to let me know about this problem. But it was me, who after a few days, contacted this department to know where my order was (ready to be received by the postal service for a week). 2) There are enough games that don't work (even when changing the emulation configuration of the game) or others that "bellow" or run in slow motion (Warriors of Migth anf Magic from Playstation, which I love, for example). It's not perfect, but you have to understand that it's emulation. ...otherwise it's a nice machine with games to play all your life, around childhood memories and nice discoveries! I hope later to be able to redo the lists a bit, delete the games I don't use (or can't use) and register new ones that are interesting!

The terminal as well as the 256GB SD card I took works well overall. However, the RaspBerry freezes regularly, so I have to pull the plug to turn it off. No manual concerning the use of microcomputers like Amiga, Atari, etc... When I launch a game on Amiga, I have the screen with the floppy disk to insert and it stays like that, a specific action to perform? Purchased a Retrobox 64 07/2018 Purchased a Retrobox 64 in July 2018. At first contact, it's fabulous...but after some time of use, we realize that it is impossible to connect in wifi to add Rom more easily and that some games do not work (Formula One 99 on PS1) some games crash after 5 min of use. For the price, we want everything to be functional. More disappointed than happy.

Not happy I am not very happy with this review service because I already reviewed the product a few days after receiving it, I had asked the seller how to do it and he had given me a link via messenger but it seems that my review was not taken into account since this is the 2nd time I was asked to review the product again.
