It lasted a month until I received it, but to the strange it is probably normal

I bought a retrobox 2to November 2020. I'm a little disappointed the ps2 is slow and some gamecube games too. My verdict on this console I think that for the 6th generation consoles we still have to wait a little that we have more powerful cpu, it remains nevertheless a good station of emulation plug and play. It's a good emulation station, but it's still a good plug and play station.

Here is my opinion after one month of use. Currently, I am waiting for an answer from the technical support which I still haven't received concerning a problem with the NETPLAY tool (doesn't work when following the NETPLAY installation video). I also noticed that after starting the Recalbox V7 console, I have to wait about two minutes for it to be functional. Some games on which I would have liked to play to find my childhood have defects (Ex. Maniac Mansion on NES, the words and texts during the game are written in another language than English, even some letters have illegible characters on this game). I hope that I will have an answer to my questions and problems so that I can review the two star rating and my comment. Sincerely

The positives: lots of games, lots of consoles and all the ones I tested work well with a PS4 controller (comfort and all that goes with it). Negative points: the bluetooth of the PS4 does not exceed 1.5 m... Seriously, what's the point of not having a wire if it's to be stuck to the screen? Some emulators don't work well... When you pay, you want EVERYTHING to work. Besides, it's impossible to play with the original controllers in USB (example N64 controller, too bad the controller is part of retrogaming)

I did receive the console on time. It was due for Christmas, but we couldn't resist using it last weekend. Ease of use guaranteed. Most of the systems are well emulated, but there are still some malfunctions. It's true that I haven't had time to change the emulators yet to see if the inoperative games could work otherwise. Most of the ATARI systems have a poor sound, some GAME&WATCH games don't work the first time and some systems are not compatible with the supplied wired controller, needing a numeric keyboard... But overall, I am fully satisfied with the product. Most games are well emulated or can be improved... I was able to introduce my 10 year old daughter to some cult games, and she found the image quality exceptional for such old games: Fabulous on METAL SLUG or TEKKEN 3 for example... a nice Christmas gift in advance!
