I do take some responsibility myself, in that I didnt realise my order was being shipped from outside the UK meaning I had import charges over £200! My parcel was held in customs and they didnt release it until I provided proof of my purchase , I was threatened with daily storage charges and import tax. I contacted Sailproof for advise as I thought it was a scam at first. After 2 emails ( this is the only means of contact) I had no response. This left me very stressed and in the meantime charges were incurring on storage by UPS. I thought at this stage it was a problem that needed to be resolved by Sailproof as UPS advised me they had put the incorrect cost on the items enclosed in the package. The item cost me over £200 ! More than expected and Sailproof need not respond or care. I had no choice to pay the ever increasing charges than to otherwise loose £900 on the original order. I will never use them again.. I am appalled at their non communication.

Dear Sally,
we answered your message exactly 1 hour and 20 minutes after you sent it. And we sent 2 other messages in the following days, without any answer. As you know, it's always possible that messages arrive in your spam folder. For the rest, it's possible to create a support ticket in our help center (what was done when you sent your email anyway) and find our answers there. Moreover, we also contacted UPS to check if there was any issue with the import taxes calculation.
For the rest, yes, since Brexit, you have to pay the English VAT when the parcel enter the country (but we didn't invoice you any local VAT, unlike EU clients). And there is a warning about this in red letters at the top of the check-out page.

I returned the unit as it was not as advertised. I received the price of the unit but not the shipping cost in either direction.

Hi! Conditions of return and refund in the EU are clear. You are integrally refunded (except shipping costs) if you return in the 14 days an unused device, in his original packaging. You returned it after using it more than 2 months and still we refunded the total value, except the shipping costs. There was an issue with the GPS in this batch of tablets, that we solved through a firmware update just after you returned it. For the rest, you'll understand that comments like below doesn't have anything to do with the way our tablet is advertised: "the keyboard has no back arrow (<). Just like an IPad." (this is just a setting ??) or "the Navionics menu screen does not rotate (the chart screen does rotate so you can have it in landscape mode) so we can only mount it in its vertical position." (issue that has nothing to do with our tablet, but with the way you set your display up).

It records my track but more often than not it does not show my current speed . For the money not impressed.
