The idea of a plastic pot is an excellent one, as it weighs much less than a stoneware pot and is easier to handle. But this pot has major shortcomings: - Poor-quality plastic with encrusted manufacturing waste (made in Slovenia) - Insufficient finish. Needed to be deburred before use - Lid pops off during fermentation, splattering the surrounding area.

Rest assured, the plastic is guaranteed for food contact, and is pure polyethylene. For more traditional models, stoneware or ceramics offer a better finish.

Weak product. The thermometer's temperature scale is a piece of paper printed and glued into the glass. This makes it look like a toy produced in a technology class. Many doubts about the thermometer's durability. Product already oxidized after 3 uses. Very thin steel.
