The package arrived intact, but the tray at the bottom of the crate had received a blow, probably before shipping, and was cracked. Impossible to see before signing the delivery note, unless you unpack everything and inspect it in detail, which the deliverers don't appreciate because it wastes their time. This device didn't last long when the almonds broke. The lever arm broke at the thread and I had to extract the threaded part and then thread the remaining rod to make it work again. I think this equipment is a bit weak for hard, compact shells like fresh almonds. I haven't yet tested it on walnuts.

The reason I put customer service 3 stars is that I asked an important question (to me at least) about the steriliser but nobody ever came back to me about them. When you have items to sterilise at 100 degree centigrades but the steriliser does not go higher than 90 there is a hiccup somehow. But nobody answers
