Hello, I am very satisfied with the site securitemarche.fr. The staff is attentive and responsive. However, regarding the purchased product, I had problems after its installation. Indeed, I was away from my home for 5 days after arming my alarm without the siren. During this absence, I received 3 alerts 'alarm, intrusion' on my phone in 3 days. Upon my return, and following this abnormal behavior of the alarm, I performed a reset. I haven't had the opportunity to be away long enough to know the reliability of the product after this reset. The causes of false alarms are varied, but concretely, the problem will be at the level of what the detector sees. It is triggered by its PIR sensor (passive infrared), which means in simpler terms 'a heat movement' like a human body, but also other elements, like a radiator, etc.
Do you have the possibility to send us photos of your installation? This way we can analyze based on our experience and give you hints.
Another test to confirm that the problem is not simply material: put the detector in a closed drawer or cupboard. Then leave it armed, you will quickly realize if the detector is indeed triggering for no reason. If not, it means it sees something in your environment that triggers it.
