I have been a customer for many years and have always been very satisfied with the products. I recently ordered a replacement sensor for my wireless security system and it was necessary to re-establish my account. I was very surprised and disappointed to receive an e-mail regarding security online which printed very clearly my password. As I had used this password for many other websites, including online banking, I had to spend some time changing the password on these sites. Not so ultrasecure !

I am sorry you have a problem with the Wireless Intercom, all of the Intercoms we sell are tested and advertised as results after 'clear line of sight' tests, we do not just rely of manufacturers claims as we always do our own tests. Wireless signals have to be tested this way, because there can be so many seen and unseen obstructions that may block a wireless signal, this could be unseen steel or electronics inside wall cavities, it can be local Wireless Transmission from devices such as TV, Broadband, Jammed (faulty) Wireless Electronics and many other factors, some that us the general public may not know about.
Because of this, we offer a clear 30-day money back to all customers, this gives them plenty of time to test the Intercom in their environment, if for any reason it doesn't work it can be sent back for a full refund providing it hasn't been damaged. It is impossible for us to know every eventuality in each installation, we apologize if this has caused you some inconvenience.

System was delivered very fast. Still not fully installed as yet but comments so far. No thought put into length of cable on panel trasformer (only approx. 1 metre long) options are to fit a socket higher up wall or extend cable so it will reach a practical height for the panel, it would cost almost nothing to supply with min 2 metre cable. I expect the same problem will be with alarm box transformer!! Instructions are minimal in some cases do not cover all aspects of the equipment / installation. Overall product seems very good, pity about the minor irritations. will still use Ultra Secure again

Thank you for the honest review, the length of cable from the transformer is standard, although I do not disagree that we should ask the supplier to look at options about having a slightly longer one, I think the question would be how long should it be ?. As for the instructions we send out quick setup guide and our advice which we have made up, we also include the full A5 manual inside the box, together with actually pairing all the sensors to the panel for you before dispatching. We would appreciate your comments to what more we should have done for you, which will help us look into the future.

5 stars for the site's responsiveness, but 1 star for the received merchandise, as for me, I ordered an outdoor passage detection system, I received a simple indoor beep, equipped with a soft plastic cover to slide over the indoor radar and which is supposed to seal it (it doesn't work!!!!)

The indoor panel can operate in 3 modes: beep, chime, and siren. Did you check the manual carefully? Once again, our technicians are here to help you set up your system. And, very importantly, at no extra cost. The outdoor detector is resistant, no doubt about that. The cover helps to further protect the detector, but especially to reduce the angle and beam to precisely orient the detector on the desired passage. Do not confuse its utility. The choice of rubber is well thought out, it makes the task easier for our customers and does not reduce the effectiveness of protection. Indeed, I confirm that this is a product meant to be used indoors and not outdoors. No misleading advertising at this level. We even advise against placing it outdoors, otherwise the product will probably not function correctly and will have a limited lifespan.
The sound gets lost outside? I don't quite understand, but I reiterate, the product is to be used indoors.
The remote control, like any remote control, should be handled with care, but it will work very well. If necessary, it can be purchased as a spare part.

Regarding the price, this product is extremely well priced, do a little comparison on the Internet. Especially considering the autonomous functions it offers, which is exclusive for this type of product. Average price of an equivalent: between 200 and 400 €, and without autonomous proposal.
The general reaction of people who contact us is rather one of surprise at the capabilities of a product at a low price. Our apologies if your opinion differs. It is up to you to buy our products or not, we do not force anyone.

The advertised 600 meter range doesn't live up to the claim. We have a home office at the end of a average garden (25m). The comms between the sender unit and the office hand set is poor (crakerly) and intercom between the two hand sets doesn't work unless we move from our front door to the back of the house. Which isn't any use to be honest. For the price and the lack of distance I'd only rate this average. Not that impressed.

I am very sorry you are not getting the expected range on this product at your site, we regularly test these products in an open air location and nearly always get 700 metre operational range, in all weather.
All manufacturers of Wireless Equipment have to measure operating distances in open air because it is impossible to know what obstructions or unseen interferences could come into play in any location.
Unseen interference can come from many objects and quite possibly from a neighbouring property.
If you want to return the Handsets for us to test, we are happy to do this and obviously should we find a technical problem we would replace the part.
Once again we are sorry you are not getting the expected operating range from the system.

We did indeed have an issue with one of your products (this happens, whatever the brand, price, quality), which we replaced immediately before any return from you. A return that has never occurred on your part and that we cannot even claim from the supplier for warranty. A dry loss therefore (and who finances this according to you?).
However, this range is very, very appreciated by our customers, who only praise it for its quality AND prices.
We have not heard of any issue with the replacement material, so I deduce that its operation was correct.

Regarding your misplaced comment 'Bought in China at a fraction of the resale price in France, it's a good deal': yes, we are a commercial company, yes we need to make a margin. Why? Because we are a French company, we have to pay charges, salaries, taxes, VAT, import taxes, etc. etc. Do you really think all this is free?
Add that our customer service is WITHOUT fees, WITHOUT surcharges.
We do not practice exaggerated margins, I think our catalog is displayed at reasonable prices. Especially for the quality of service offered behind it. This is in any case the comment we generally receive.

You will excuse us for the inconvenience suffered, but I do not think you have been particularly wronged in this specific case.
We are always open to constructive comments, which I believe is not the case here.

We purchased a wireless door bell/alarm transmitter and 2 receivers: It took quite a bit of time to set up the unites because the instructions included in the boxes were NOT for the versions of the items we purchased. Eventually we figured out how to make them work, but we are greatly limited as to the available options, not having the ability to encode the system according to the directions supplied.

Thank you for the review, we do send these products out already programmed therefore they should work out of the box, I am sorry if you didn't experience this, I am not sure what went wrong here.
You can change the dip-switches inside the Receivers and Transmitter giving you approximately 250 combinations for the Wireless signal, and you have 4 different channels to transmit back to the Receivers, you select the 4 channels by moving dip-switches 9 + 10 inside the Transmitter. The website is fair but not always that easy to navigate, a common problem. Availability of technical advice is very variable in quality (depth). Smart Wireless Alarm, Built in Auto-Dialler & External PIR was rated a 150metrs but could not get a signal to the receiver on first floor landing at 20 metres outside house wall. Newish house with standard construction. PIR sensors round one corner each of building clad using box profile steel sheeting (0.5mm thick). Should have worked but it wouldn't. If I raised receiver up to window, just about receive the signal. One PIR supplied with a vital 'jumper' missing. Returned whole package (at my cost) to UltraSecure who very promptly refunded my purchase price. Only option with UltraSecure now is to buy 900metre strength beam units which are much more expensive. Bit concerned about life of batteries that are recharged by solar energy though. (Will I need expensive replacement batteries in 12, 18, 24 months time? No one knows.) May still trade with UltraSecure but must reassess carefully.

We are sorry the Smart Alarm wouldn't work in your application, we do test every single product line we ever sell, and only ever quote the results we get from these tests, we never simply reply on specifications from manufacturers. All wireless is tested in open air as it is impossible to know what type of obstructions may cause potential problems when the systems are in use, these obstructions are not always physical. It is unusual that the Smart will not operate on short range as it operates on the 868 frequency, but obviously it was not suitable for you. We wish you well with finding a system to suit your needs, and hope you come back to us for future projects.

2/ We offer a 30-day return period for a refund, it's your guarantee of satisfaction. You just need to return your order to us, we will refund you, it's that simple.

Regarding the delivery time:
- you ordered on Wednesday, October 5th in the afternoon
- your order was prepared and shipped the next day, Thursday 6th
- your order arrived at the pickup point 48 working hours later (on Monday, there is no delivery on weekends)

I can't say that the service is not serious, I am still waiting for my refund but I had to return the product as it did not suit me at all because technically there was no operating manual in English, features are not very accessible.
