Order shipped quickly and arrived in good condition. Only drawback concerning the Badger1000 compressor: coming directly from the USA, the electrical plug is also American ... purchase of a compulsory adaptor is nowhere mentioned when purchasing the product. This comment is intended to be constructive in the interests of the seller and the customer. Otherwise, the site is excellent and the shipping of orders has always gone smoothly as far as I'm concerned.
For some time now there have been major problems on the site: the page keeps""unhooking"" (upwards or downwards) which makes it very difficult to select products by ticking the boxes with the mouse Should USERS and BUYERS notice this?

No stock level on your items on your site. Too bad all the other sites mark the stock level under each item. You sell and you take the amount without knowing if you have the article requested by the customer and if your partner doesn't have it either! what do you do? (credit note or refund) the customer is bound to be very disappointed. When we want to unsubscribe from your mailings on promotions or other it's all in Englishbravo!!!! Sincerely, I don't think I'd recommend your site to a friend. Acceptable experience but I wouldn't do it again.

A plate is missing from the Eduart kit sent by 1001 maquettes. No response from them despite 2 messages sent. No response to cli requests
They did not send me the tracking number nor did they reply to the message I sent them through their website. Otherwise order received in the time indicated correctly packaged and without any damage.
It took a little while. I get my packages sent from the USA faster! The excuse that suppliers have trouble supplying is pathetic. When you sell online you need stock! Otherwise I received what I had ordered and in good condition (which is not always the case with some poorly designed sites). What's more, the prices are right, so overall it's a good deal.

The order tracking and e-mail communication is perfect and very clear. I received my order but it's not what I ordered! So I sent a message to find out how to restore the situation 2 days ago and I'm waiting for a reply.

Funny story. I order an item that seems to be in stock. I place the order and pay. So far so good. 3 days later I receive an e-mail telling me that the item has to be delivered because it's out of stock. Then a message that the collis has arrived at 1001maquettes. 7 days later 3 messages that the collis has been sent and that the tracking nr will be sent again. 4 days later still no nr. I contact customer service who confirm the shipment and the trans[carrier. They told me that the tracking number was not available. So I contacted the carrier by e-mail and in less than 30 minutes I had the number and confirmation that the shipment had not been made on August 4 as announced by 1001maquettes but that the collis had been given to the carrier on August 6 to arrive at my house on August 8. So I'm wondering about 1001 maquettes' adherence to deadlines and the camouflage practices employed, but after a long wait (3 weeks) I've got my model. By way of comparison, I had to order a piece from another site that didn't charge me for postage (for a collis worth less than the model) and miraculously, the day after I placed the order, I got my collis ... which calls for a certain rethinking of the quality of service.
So everything went wrong. The delivery came a week later than was announced. I ordered 3 1m long wooden slats. These were sent in a 1m x 40cm x 1cm package. This had been bent 2 times. There was nothing on the package. No ""please do not bend"" or ""fragile. The end of the story was that I had lots of small wooden sticks. I wrote a direct mail with photos. Then I asked in ""Lifechat"" what was going to happen now. ""We will contact you when the mail has been processed. "" Sorry but who sends thin wooden strips in such a lousy package? So far there has been no response from 1001.
I ordered varnish and decals and everything arrived in an envelope with bubbles. ...the decals have suffered (folding, damage to a decal ...) the least I could do would be to slide the decal board between 2 sheets of cardboard, which would avoid, in my opinion, the deterioration of these somewhat sensitive boards.
Improve shipping times.
First buying experience on 1001 models unfortunately not entirely satisfactory. The order placed (and paid for) on Sunday, July 6 arrived on Friday, July 25 despite the fact that all of the products ordered were marked as available except for 1 listed as in stock and shippable in 4-6 days. After about 10 days of waiting an email informed me that such product first delayed and then unavailable would be cancelled from the order its cost was returned to me in the form of a voucher for a later purchase (would have been more welcome the money back but so be it). Finally on the 17th the package is shipped the tracking number I receive only on the 24th (it tells me that on the 23rd the package left France was taken over by a courier) but by now it is of no use since it arrived on the 25th and mysteriously also contains the product unavailable! Just as well even though by now I had ordered it and received it (in three days!) from England. Positive sides: - lots of products that can be ordered - with sales you can find nice models at good prices. Negative sides: - standard shipping and delivery times too long even unnerving in case of temporary hiccups - though not the company's fault - in the delivery of the products - automatic communications via site account or via email unclear and often late - packaging definitely improvable considering the fragile and expensive nature of the goods handled.
