Transport too expensive !!!
Hello in my order of early march 2014 i ordered a model (the order summary is correct and the invoice too) but it's another one that i received ... i sent a message to [email protected] but no answer! The problem is that what was delivered to me was part of a previous order and so I have a duplicate box which I don't have.
For an order placed on March 2, I still have no news on the evening of March 11.
It is ultimately just a ""word-of-mouth". It simply collects an order and passes it on to the manufacturer. In my case the order referred to an Italian site the product arrived after a few more days from France. Also found the Victory then on the official Revell site in the online shop at just over $25 practically bought on an Italian site to pay three times as much. Next time I will be more careful
I find that compared to other competing sites the prices are abnormally high (see for example the Heller Royal Sun 1100 sold at nearly 60% more than normal (among others)). In addition lead times are very long (allow 3 weeks) and moreover items advertised as available are not always proof of a poorly monitored stock situation;Taking OUPS as an example is a tip to follow. Frustrating organization for a model builder looking for accessories to improve basic kits. After 15 days of waiting, I finally finished the model in progress before receiving these famous accessories.
I have been waiting 6 weeks for my item I have nothing yet. I have paid in advance. Finally after 7 email they reply saying that it is a fault of the supplier and they are still waiting for the product. This is strange because on the stock of 1001modellbau it says that the item is more than 15 and 25 ouf stock and available. So i like this will take many months i hope they will refund my money. What would 1001modellbau think if they had to wait months for their money? That can't be right!
Takes too long on delivery Supposed to be delivered from the States and found out that was shipped in France. Took 15 days, cost 1.5 € but i was charged $4. Besides that, I'm happy with the product.

Failed to deliver, refund eventually received. I ordered a decal set 31st January. 11 days later received an email to say item not yet dispatched but that it would be posted within the next few days. This was not acceptable to me so I email back requesting the order be cancelled and my money refunded. 4 Days later I receive an email to say my item had now been mailed. I again replied to say my order had been cancelled. On 23rd Feb I had neither received my refund or the product that had allegedly posted to me so I opened a dispute via Paypal. A refund was then received the following day. Very poor communication throughout - not a happy buying experience.

Problem with packaging You must to pay attencion to prepare shipment. My decals weren't respectively protected. Shipment arrived to me damged. If you send delicate merchandise, please take it in safe packaging (for example cardboard)

When I placed my first order, all the models were in stock, but when they were delivered much later, one model was missing, which led me to place another order and incur additional costs, all due to poor stock management.
I ordered a model car to assemble for a birthday party. The website mentions a 48h delivery. The package actually took about 10 days to arrive, which was after the birthday! The car is actually very small, I was expecting something bigger. I certainly won't be buying anything from

WELL RECEIVED MY ORDER QUICKLY BUT FORTUNATELY I'M USED TO MAKING MODELS BECAUSE 2 OUT OF 3 ARE EITHER IN RUSSIAN OR ALL IN ENGLISH . MOREOVER, WITH EACH ASSEMBLY ON EACH PAGE THERE ARE NO COLORS INDICATED ON THE PARTS? REFER TO THE PACKAGING? NOT HABIT! I'LL BE HESITATING ON THE NEXT CDES!? I ordered on January 17th. I was debited on January 17. 5 calendar days (3 working days) later, on January 22, I received an e-mail stating that your order no. 32571 had been dispatched and that you would be receiving it shortly. On January 31, there was no delivery notice, no delivery, no news. Your telephone service does not answer you are unreachable. I expect a return from you within 24 hours and a commercial gesture on these 2 orders which total more than 340€ TTC. Cordia
On the whole, everything went well. One delicate etched part was slightly bent. It could have been packed a little more carefully and sturdily. But it's not a problem. I would be happy to order from you again.
Order 32661 dated January 21, 2014. The kit arrived on February 6 after a full 16 days despite being marked as immediately available and shipped with DHL. Above all, communications with the customer are deficient: responses to my numerous e-mails about the status of the order have always arrived several days late. One does not run an e-commerce site this way: a customer should be informed promptly especially if his shipment is delayed for any reason.
8 days to prepare the order is a long, long time. Order placed on January 12 and shipped on January 20. We are on the 28th and still no receipt or notice of default.
Payment was accepted 1701 for 4 colors I can understand that it is not a major expense but it is not acceptable the site is well structured easy and there is a lot of choice . I remain waiting for someone to answer me ..... Luke

Sloooooow! I've ordered from 1001 Model Kits in the past and everything about the experience was outstanding. This time however, has been so so. I placed my order at the same time as I placed an order from another online hobby shop. I received an auto-email telling me that my order had been processed and I would receive my order in 6 - 8 days. 10 days later I received another auto-email stating that my order had shipped and I would receive it soon. That was 11 days ago. It has been 3 weeks since ordering and still no sign of my product. I received my order from the other hobby shop 2 weeks ago.

Products nothing to say. Delivery times not in accordance with what is indicated on the site. The products offered are not necessarily in stock contrary to what is indicated and no communication on the part of 1001 maquettes on this subject which makes your order stall without explanations of their initiative. It is supplied after contacting customer service. Customer service rather good, good reception, acceptable responsiveness. Despite these rather annoying problems (order placed one month before Christmas which almost didn't arrive, a large part of the order not in stock, no refund, so I was forced to buy again on the site in a hurry, the order arriving a long time later), I think I'll recommend the company again.

It is ""distressing"" to note that the tags (product available) do not correspond to reality and that the 7 days for the delivery either. I also agree with the previous comment about product prices: you can find cheaper products if you look hard enough... On the other hand, the communication service is excellent and the product is well packaged for transport. My humble, critical and constructive opinion
I find that the product offered is not very well finished and that the whole red vehicle down to the engine is average.

While I have to say I always had a great experience shopping with you, I was surprised when I had recommended your site to a relative who purchased the 1/350 Uss The Sullivans, intending to give it to me as a Christmas gift. He was told it was in another warehouse and charged his card the 59.00 for the kit. After two weeks he had not heard anything and tried to e-mail you but did not recive a reply. He also noted the price had dropped to 29.00$. Since he did not get a response to his emails he cancelled the order. Thanks for ""listening"" Phil

The parcel was well protected and complete, but the delivery time was much longer than expected (3 weeks instead of 10 days). It was for Christmas all right, but I would have preferred to have the actual delivery time so that the big kid wouldn't be disappointed and impatient.

The site is remarkable, with numerous search criteria etc... As for the number of references, it's truly exceptional! Thousands of items! On the other hand, delivery times are sometimes a bit long. Too bad....But it's still great!
This is the first time I ordered a model from 1001 maquettes. The parcel arrived for Christmas, a Tiger 1 as a 16th Christmas present for our son. But when the boxes were opened, a package of wheels was open and half a wheel was missing. We then sent an email to customer service, which remains unanswered to this day. I was hoping to find a mail-order site I could trust. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be buying again under these conditions, at the risk of throwing our money away and disappointing others. I would have preferred to give a positive review, but unfortunately I was unable to do so.
Lots of choice and very good selection, but big problem with shipping. The advertised delivery time is 5 to 7 days, but the parcel only left 8 days after the order was placed.

I'm still waiting for my order. My first impression was rather negative, so the delivery time was too long - a child didn't get his present in time yesterday for Christmas. I can't say for sure about the quality.
