A batch of enamel paints was not delivered on time and was therefore no longer usable and was returned to the French address listed on the website. However, no refund was made as a result. Emails were not answered. The ""hotline"" with Berlin number given on the German website consists of a French answering machine. The dealer based in France played dead. There would have been two ways to take legal action, but both would have been complicated and uneconomical. The dealer seemed to be counting on this. Research then revealed the possibility of referring the case to the ""Center for European Consumer Protection"". The time-consuming formalities involved were successful: four months after returning the goods, I received an email from the retailer: 7 juin 12:03 CEST Hello Thank you we will issue the refund as soon as possible. Horrible Horrible service Purchased a photo etch for F6f2 Hellcat on June 29. No where on the 1001 Model Kit web site was there a clear statement that products would be shipped from France!!. On July 6 received an e mail that product had been shipped and I would receive a postal tracking number as soon as available. Never received the tracking number. I telephoned customer service and got a recorded message in French! Sent another e-mail and got response ""will answer as soon as possible."" It is now July 14, and product not received. I live on the US east coast in New jersey so product should have arrived after eight (8) days intransit, unless mailed by boat. Sent another e-mail with the same standard response ""will answer as soon as possible."" I am in the process of notifying Visa that I will not pay the charges to my account because of non delivery. I never had such a terrible experience with model hobby vendors. You are unable to speak with anyone, and recorded telephone messages are in French. I STRONGLY URGE ANYONE CONSIDERING PURCHASING FROM THIS VENDOR TO REMEMBER THAT THE WAREHOUSE SHIPPING POINT IS IN FRANCE AND THAT THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATIONS FROM THIS VENDOR AS TO THE STATUS OF AN ORDER other than it was shipped. Personally I do not believe this vendor had the product in stock, and never actually shipped this product. If you live in Canada or the USA beware doing business with this vendor. I am resigned to the fact that my money will not be refunded and is lost. WRP Finally on July 18 received merchandise. It had been mailed from France on July 12 and not July 6 as claimed in the vendor's e-mail. The product was ordered on June 29. Had the vendor been honest as to the date of shipment, and answered my e-mail queries, all this time wasting mess could have been avoided. This organization is a mess, never again will I place an order. They are unable to communicate effectively with the customer.

I placed my order on June 9 I pay by bank transfer for moreover also shipping with SDA and I wait.... on June 22 they send me an email where they tell me that my parcel has been shipped but..... asking for information both July 4 and July 11 no answer.....I chat Live with a certain Christofer tells me that the parcel is still there and asking him the tracking number....they send it to me in the afternoon by mail!!!!only that it is not from SDA!!!! Site with quite a lot of choice but 2 weeks late for material in stock and supposedly delivered in 7 days ...and it hasn't left their premises yet....and no return mail...Last purchase that's for sure. On the other hand, they're quick to cash in and quick to register the requested refund on their site...We'll have to see how long it takes, though.

Am working with former landlord to try & track down where the package ended up. I will never order here again I ordered on 09.05.16 because the article was not available I have requested a refund today we have the 06.07.16 and my money has not been transferred back until today although my bank details are available. I think this is outrageous, first you are put off and then suddenly there is no response to emails sent. I can only advise everyone to pay via paypal otherwise you will only have trouble.

Ordered two models and one set of decals shipping by DHL courier with surcharge of 12€ approx. Of the two models ordered only one arrives of the other only the decals the shipment instead of express courier is made by regular mail. On April 04, 2016 I ordered a plate of decals for which "1001 Maquettes" first indicated a delivery between 12 and 1404 by letter as the product requested was not in stock. On 2104 I was finally informed that it would be sent by "priority letter" and a colieco was finally sent with delivery within 5 to 7 days. As of today, May 09, 2016, I still haven't received anything.... My reminders from 2904 have never been answered, and neither have today's reminders from 0905! The "reactive" customer service is absent on every call. The e-mail is unapproachable because I didn't put in the right password, even though I used it to log in to my personal 1001 Maquettes account! The chat is useless. We meow but never get an echo! The "connection" for sending messages directly to their site is a bottomless pit from which nothing ever emerges, but they promise to reply to your truncated return e-mail address! La Poste lco which was provided to me the latter not having had to enter the postal network ..... Bravo 1001 Maquettes for all this accumulation of non-standard performance that prevents us from contacting you effectively and waiting to receive the products without x weeks of delay!!!! I sent a CD for 1.60 EUR in priority mail received in less than 24h For 3.99 EUR of postal charges 1001 Maquettes could have the delicacy to send in letter even green when there is already delay existing....
