Nice selection weakness in follow-thru. I ordered six kits and got a confirmation of the order and notification that the order was filled. Then, two weeks passed with no comment whatsoever. I prodded with an email. They looked into it, then told me it was in transit. What I received was one kit short of the order and no explanation was provided.

I bought the model of the dodge charger RT 1969 replica GENERAL LEE which is in fact a drag version of the charger wheels a little big and the front fenders cut... but the car looks great if you add a few things that aren't in the rear seat/center console kit, remember to get the brown color for the interior and dashboard that isn't shown on the photo.... So I bought a headlight paint and not a body paint. That's 2 pieces of information that didn't allow me to be sure of my purchase and what's more with the wrong paint because the site lacks a link to brush and glue paints for the model in question.... really too bad. I went to a model store to buy body and interior paint. Unfortunately, I ended up with a 5-euro can of paint that's useless to me and that I can't return because the return is more expensive than the can. So I won't be buying from 1001maquette again. But for a model-building pro who knows what to buy, it's an excellent site, but for a rusty guy like me, I'd have liked the support I've been getting.

I was very disappointed with my order for 3 model ships. In your description they were marked 77cm long, but when I received them they were only 50cm long. I asked why and was told that this was normal since they were World War 1 ships, but then you should mark the correct dimensions on your site. I made this order because I thought they were 77cm long models. Correct your descriptions, they don't correspond to the correct dimensions.

I was not used to such a long wait for an order until now. When the delivery arrived I had my doubts that everything had arrived in perfect condition. It's a shame to have to pay 13€ in postage for a parcel when a simple bubble envelope would have done the trick at a lower cost. What's more, I think the delivery time would also have been shorter. Best regards

+ €13 postage for a decal sheet that costs €10. A delivery time of two weeks... In other countries, the delivery time is one week for less than 10 euro postage.

On the positive side, the parcel arrived without damage. On the negative side, I looked puzzled at the delivery when I had to pay the courier from the post office CHF 28 for customs clearance. Hello in terms of choice of products and prices the site is very good. Also, the sales department responds quickly to questions by e-mail. Then, in terms of delivery, I placed my order on Monday April 23rd and it was delivered on Friday May 11th, i.e. more than two and a half weeks later. I took the ""express"" option (delivery within 45 days). After a week, I had to email the site again. The parcel took a total of 10 days to arrive. A bank holiday a few days after my order must have disrupted the site's distribution system. Otherwise everything was fine.

Firstly their website was often down or not accessible for periods of time. Secondly, just after making a order with them the email address I used was compromised and I needed to change passwords. Thankfully it was a email address with negligible info for thieves to use. Third, I ordered a specific as advertised scale model (CHI HA tank 1:72) but was given a slightly larger scale model (1:76) instead. Finally, a couple of the models I purchased were either intentionally or unintentionally opened or tampered with. If I'm paying full price for a new product then I would expect it to be untouched. As mentioned I am thankfull that 1001 model kits exits because theirs no one else out their like them that I've found but I'm wary of ordering again from them.

Order placed on 2602 Payment by cheque received on 0403 Order processed on 0403 with confirmation email. So far so good.... Having no further news, I left a message on the site on 1403 and received a reply the next day stating that one of the products I had ordered was no longer in stock (although it was on the site at the time of ordering) and that my order would be prepared and partially dispatched. The monetary difference would be the subject of a discount voucher for a future order! On March 29 I sent a message asking for a refund instead of the discount voucher. I sent another reminder this evening, but I wouldn't recommend this site at this stage: Update: The site has finally proceeded with the refund.

The product is faithful to the one seen on the site, no surprises and that's a good point, but you have to plan ahead because the shipping and delivery time is relatively long.
