Website made out they were a British site by charging in GBP and posting a U.K. number. The total cost included VAT. Found later they were based in France and the VAT was French tax. Ended up paying 40% as HMRC charged another 20% on arrival. HMRC told me as the product was sold and exported to U.K. it should not have been subject to French tax. Told the company but not answer. Please be aware before buying from this company.
Today is 8/23/23 and I have not received my Futaba antenna. It was o ly $30.00 or but still. When I contacted the company I was told I shipped it cheap way so it could not be traced. Guess I'm the money. Customers....BEWARE!!!
The product is missing parts, has paint residues and the box is open, and it has taken 15 days to arrive.
The products really aren't that great. There's tape on the joints and the plastic is really light. As for service, when you mark a product in stock, you shouldn't have to wait two weeks for delivery. We need to improve on this last point.
It does not protect products during transport
I strongly advise against this site: the product purchased never arrived and customer service doesn't even reply - or, when they do reply, it's to knowingly give false information (e.g., to make people believe that they've received the item and that it will be shipped soon) and then to postpone the next shipping date once again... In short, a scam to be avoided unless you want to waste time and money!
Out of stock not notified prior to purchase. I've seen several notices after buying notifying this. When I bought a figurine, I told myself that I would exceptionally take a direct home delivery and pay a little more so that it would be quick (for a birthday). Result: Order received a little over 2 weeks later, even though the delivery date was ANNOUNCED at the time of purchase, a few days later. I don't recommend this site and won't buy anything from it again.
The client service did not respond by phone as well as no answer via web site forms. Even thought there is a great product catalog, description I am doubt I will ever try this webshop again.
Goods were broken. All glass bottles. I sent photos. But I still had to send everything back. It all took weeks. Then one product was no longer available. I never received the remaining amount! Despite a request. Communication is the worst. Once a problem arises here, everything is pointless.
I received my last order very late. Deliveries are much faster from E Bay and AMAZON. I will not buy from you again.
Order has not arrived and when I notified the company the response was less than pleasing. Right now, not happy at all with 1001hobbies and unless the error is rectified will never give them business again and will dispute the charge on my card. I do hope that things will be settled properly.
Ordered on 18/07/23, delivered on 03/08/23. According to a manager, it takes a minimum of one week per delivery, 16 days to get my order, TO BE IMPROVED. I tried 6 times to contact them by phone, impossible, nobody picks up. I've left 3 e-mails, the last one with my phone number, and I've been answered. TO IMPROVE
The product arrived without some parts promptly reported to me was knowing what to do, still on Monday, then no one was heard from again
They list items on their website they don't have. I don't want to say it's a scam, but it's pretty close. They disregarded my email instructions regarding my order and took their own actions. Very disappointing.
No luck with this order, three months for delivery after two phone calls and two emails with no response, so yes, just one star, and I will no longer be a customer of this site.
A stock order taking almost 14 days instead of three days. Probably 1001 hobbies had to order the product from Japan first and then send it to me. Really sad when the item is listed as stock with the mailbox package also having to cost at least 6.95. This was my first and also my last order at 1001hobbies.
When I placed my order it was supposed to ship within 1week. After 2 weeks I received my order. My messages on your site were not responded to. You guys are even slower than aliexpress. I will never order anything from you again. Worthless mess.
We ordered a helicopter for our son. The packaging had already been opened once and the remote control was missing. Tears flowed at the birthday table. My son asks me every day if I have reached anyone at 1001 - unfortunately not. I am now getting the money back via Paypal. Never ever again.
Run away! Deadlines not met, customer service in freewheel mode: unable to do what's asked of them. A lot of stress and fruitless e-mail exchanges. A horror! All this to find myself running to find a replacement gift at the last minute, when I had ordered 2 items in March for an important birthday in June... Help!

Delivery took a very long time; battery broken; now I am supposed to send the defective battery back so that they can see what the problem is; I ordered the product in May and have not been able to use it until today in mid-July; who knows what will happen next
After five weeks , which is super long , I finally received the order . half of the stickers were short . too bad , but I have not seen me again . I sent an email , but got no response to date .
The packaging was terrible and obviously the display case was broken, I claimed it and never heard from them again.
I am very unhappy, this is the second time I have ordered from this site and both times there have been delays in delivery. Product ordered on June 16th received on July 8th. There will be no third order. For a site that recommends buying French, you should be able to deliver within 3 days maximum. Comprenne qui pourra !
It is that I received a voucher for this site otherwise I would never have ordered through this site. But it turns out they are scammers. 1. Free delivery from spending 100 euros, quite high but with such a store you're soon there anyway. I order here for 160 euros and use my vouchers. But they are not seen as money but as a discount code so you still have to pay shipping costs. Ridiculous 2. You order some things, half of them are delivered, namely all the small stuff, but you can forget about the big and expensive kit. If you then contact the customer service you get a response if you can send pictures because it should be in the box. Responded twice now and 2 weeks later and never heard anything back. Never buy anything here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An order that took two months to arrive. If you're ordering for a birthday, plan well ahead. A plane is missing and -1001 has offered to reimburse me (we'll see if the contract is honored from start to finish).
My "gift" arrived in a jiffy bag already opened with the contents inside, compromised.
All references in stock but more than a week to receive the parcel and what a parcel !!!! A poor bubble envelope with pots of paint, a brush without any protection... I don't recommend!

So bad contact and so long in transit I do not even know if it arrives. I think the good resencies are deceitful when I came with difficulty to the bad I was shocked and I find it shameful that they do nothing about it. It's not that the delivery is cheap or something just more expensive than most. For me not understandable that a company does nothing about it. 1 star is 1 too many
Shortly after placing my order, I had a snag that would prevent me from being there the week following my order. So I immediately wrote an email while the order was still being processed to ask them to postpone the delivery date by specifying the date of my return home. They replied that the item was not yet in their possession, but they were waiting for the delivery which would happen in one to two weeks and then ship it. Reassured that it would take a week minimum for supply and a few days for shipment, I did not respond again. From one day to the next, my order on their site went from "being processed" to "being delivered" without even receiving a notice that it had left their warehouse. So I rewrote an email explaining that I had previously written that I was not home and as a response I received an email saying that they had sent the package and a summary of the delivery information. In the end I personally contacted PosteItaliane shipping service and they helped me with my order. 1001Hobbies LOW SERVICE!!!

The paint pack supplied bears no relation to the model. Customer service, perfectly aware of the problem (I'm obviously not the only one), pretended to ignore it: "it's a generic pack". As a result, I have to order other paints, certainly not from this site.
I can't get sales on the phone. I've chosen a product where the site is supposed to provide the colors adapted to the theme of the model. You should know that this does not mean that 1001 Hobbies' colors are among those recommended by the manufacturer... I regret my purchase.
Totally bad. The employee doesn't speak Dutch and I still don't have the puzzle. And there is no trach and tracé and I haven't got my money back either. In short do not order anything
Very bad experience I paid for the fast shipping that was supposed to arrive within two days because I needed it urgently while the package arrived after 5 days and now I can't use it, so the purchase turned out to be useless.
