Express shipping paid and 7 days delivery time because warehouse in France. But this is concealed. No response to emails and internal chat. Hotline is never answered. Spent 20 euros for express shipping for nothing and no refund or response.... Too bad because everything else was OK. But there's really room for improvement in customer service... Too bad
Packaging and article are very satisfactory. Delivery takes too long. With other suppliers it is faster
Poorly packaged in the shipping box, not wedged....the small pieces have tumbled into the inner box ... box not taped, I hope there is nothing missing ... otherwise very fast shipping

Disappointed by the delivery time and the lack of credible information in the order tracking, even if this is the result of a computer and telephone server problem. In addition, a delivery note with the parcel would be useful to help verify the presence of all the items ordered.
I was completely satisfied with the order, including the choice on the internet, which I will certainly return to. Only the delivery left something to be desired.
No problem with the order, choice of products or delivery, very satisfied. Unfortunately, of the two candles I ordered, one didn't work (the resistor didn't light and the candle got very hot) and the second worked fine. Half satisfied
Delayed delivery and boxes of models crushed on arrival
A bit misleading, thought I was using a UK based depot, products were available straight away del 3-4 days, didn't arrive, chased up to be told coming from France a week later, looking at other reviews this is not 1st others have had same situation.. When placing order should state where products are coming from, probable use again though
Delivery was incomplete at first; problem did eventually get resolved after contacting customer service 2x.

Hello, my note is the reflection of my order placed on October 03 and received on October 21 after I called 3 times. on the RC model tamiya mainly you have 90% of the range on your site available within 15 days at T2M but your database is not up to date! if it's not available at T2M, you still take 15 days. i, the customer, know more than the advisers on the phone, and that's not it at all! what's more, you're on average 40% more expensive than most stores representing the TAMIYA brand for options and spare parts for TAMIYA models. in short, you don't do anything right apart from making money. you've lost a customer who's very passionate about this brand.
I'm only talking about the model department: payment, delivery, telephone assistance: very good; large selection, especially of small-scale figurines. It should be possible to place items in the shopping basket without going through the product details, and a historical period criterion should be used for searches; non-competitive prices except for sales or clearance sales.
Parcel arrived on time but packaging crushed in letterbox
I was initially impressed by the great price. So I ordered immediately. Then searched for reviews and....oh shock found many negative ones. Waited and checked the shipment status again and again. Suddenly it said "not available". Checked the website and found out that the kit would not be available for another week, even if ordered immediately. I waited and...got lucky! and received the kit at the end of the week after all, which means a delivery time of two weeks, which is understandable when you know that they are based in France and not in Germany as the name suggests! Conclusion: Despite the tempting prices and the low postage, not necessarily the first choice when ordering.
Eduard kit arrived on time and on target, but packaging was merely bubble wrap over an un-shrink wrapped flimsey Eduard box. This packaging is insufficent for travel to Canada. The box was damaged, the contents visible to the delivery system, but somehow, it survived contact with reality and got to me.
I had to e mail after the order myself and then received a link for T&T which did not work. Fortunately the item ordered arrived the other day, well packaged for which thanks.
Had to wait almost 4 weeks for my order. Product was otherwise fine, but the delivery time really can't be, especially since the website said there would be immediate delivery.

Delivery problems for my parcel with long waiting times
It overwhelms me that I can no longer choose home delivery but have to pick up my package miles away at an ESSO station.
I'm quite satisfied with 1001hobbies.fr's service, but I'm critical of their lack of attention to the orders I place with them. On my 1st order, in which I used Tamiya shades, I asked them in a message to add the main shades that a beginner modeler would need. They added Heller shades, and... Humbrol enamel shades. A nice mix that will be difficult for me to exploit. A pity. I've recommended my missing shades on another site, which is a pity, because if it hadn't been for this incident, I'd have given it 5 stars.
My purchase was held in U.S. Customs because someone at 1001hobbies.com did not fill out complete paperwork. I was required to contact U.S. Customs and give information to them or it would not be released to me. This is NOT good business practice in the U.S. It is not good business practice anywhere. I will seriously have to reconsider before dealing with 1001hobbies.com again.
I am going to buy again, but my order had some problems and delays, and the communication (maybe because it was summer) was not the best. Even so, I understand that these things happen, and it is true that, with those difficulties, it was solved.
This is actually a French website with a Dutch front door. The people at customer service speak English (a little hard to understand), and when I sent an email in Dutch I got a reply back in German. I ordered a package including 3 paints, one of which was spoiled. Initially I did not receive an email with a tracking code, hence contact with customer service (was then quickly resolved). Delivery took too long. May have had to do with the passing of Queen Elizabeth.
1st bag received with a large trace of bic pen, after several emails for an exchange (I was first offered a voucher of 10 €), we received a bag perfectly wrapped with plastic protection what did not have the 1st ... but finally the order is perfect!
After making my order and payment no product came, after much contact via mail the company found out that the order was not delivered and returned. On my initiative many contact via mail but no result. After 5 weeks received money back and no product. A dissatisfied feeling and result prevails in the experience with this company.
Corespondence with customer service 4 mails to get a response package shipment 30 hours after for immediate shipment null .
Item was good but (I now realise) expensive and dispatch time (2+ weeks) was disappointing.
