Standard delivery from belgium to netherlands takes over 3 weeks , a package from japan is even faster. better to mention that specifically so a faster -and more expensive- method can be chosen.
Everything was fine. However I received an order of Tamiya paints with no name and no reference. Although the fault may be the manufacturer's, however they have not been able to fix it.
In a bubble envelope, do not send
1st order last year, 3D wooden puzzle, 2 months before delivery and 3 telephone reminders, with broken promises.
Delivery took longer than expected, with the wrong tracking for Belgium. He told me I had received it when I hadn't. 2 weeks late.
Very nice product, nothing to say. On the other hand, I had to wait more than a month for my order to be sent ... A friendly customer service representative never got back to me as agreed to find out the status of my order! Very disappointed!
The deadlines shown on the website are not what they are in the end at the time of delivery.

I was happy with my order, the figurines are very beautiful but I was disappointed with the delivery which was very long.
Communication was super bad via email. Had to call and got someone who spoke english on the phone who confirmed that something had gone wrong with the payment. She then initiated the order and promised that the package would arrive after 3 days.not so.was over a week later.so about 3 weeks after I had originally ordered it. No more orders for me with this company until she gets her act together.

I will focus on three aspects of this review on the shop: the website, the communication, and the shipping. The website is great! Everything is clear and easy to find and search. Nothing is glitchy and photos are very clear and descriptive of the item you're going to purchase. What you see in the picture is what you're going to get! The emails and communication is a bit awkward. The only original email I received when I made the purchase was the notification from PayPal, NOT Hobbies1001. So I had to screenshot the purchase confirmation on my browser and luckily I downloaded the invoice before closing the tab. I'm only bringing this up because most people immediately close the tab when they finish making a purchase and so if they don't download or screenshot the information, then they don't have any way of contacting with their invoice info. This was a pre-order item so when it was past two weeks after the estimated date I sent them an email. The response was within 24 hours and they assisted me easy and provided me with a shipping confirmation! So in some aspects they could improve with their communication and maybe create an automated system where we get the invoice in our email, especially considering they offer pre-order items. I waited 2 and a half months and I still had to send them an email about my item and I knew if I hadn't saved a screenshot of my invoice I wouldn't have that info when I inquired. But when I actually had to contact a person, it was quick and easy and they were very helpful! The shipping needs to be better. I was very disappointed. The package was literally just 2 layers of bubblewrap and packing tape with the label taped on top. The box of the figure was cracked open. Luckily the figure was fine but they really should have shipped with a cardboard box and packing paper. Collectors who display their figures in box would definitely be livid to see the box crushed in transit. Especially considering I paid $17 for shipping the least I expect is that it comes in a cardboard box.
Site navigation is correct and delivery is good. As for the product, a model of a WW2 aircraft, you should have specified ALL the characteristics of the product (number of parts, quality of manufacture, finish, etc.) The quality of the model is really very disappointing (SMER brand to be avoided) even if the price was low. If I had had more details, I would not have bought it ...

I am sorry, 40 days x receive the goods is really too much. You should have written it down. Or at least not charge the expenses that are expensive anyway.

Express shipping paid and 7 days delivery time because warehouse in France. But this is concealed. No response to emails and internal chat. Hotline is never answered. Spent 20 euros for express shipping for nothing and no refund or response.... Too bad because everything else was OK. But there's really room for improvement in customer service... Too bad

Disappointed by the delivery time and the lack of credible information in the order tracking, even if this is the result of a computer and telephone server problem. In addition, a delivery note with the parcel would be useful to help verify the presence of all the items ordered.

Delayed delivery and boxes of models crushed on arrival
A bit misleading, thought I was using a UK based depot, products were available straight away del 3-4 days, didn't arrive, chased up to be told coming from France a week later, looking at other reviews this is not 1st others have had same situation.. When placing order should state where products are coming from, probable use again though
