I have placed three orders this year. In general, fine. But from the first order of 23 February I still haven't received one of the items, despite repeated announcements that it was on its way and that the item was paid for with the rest of the order. I really don't know what is going on. I think there is a lack of coordination between departments. I don't know what action to take anymore. It's a pity, since, except for the above, the company has been doing reasonably well.
I had to wait over 6 weeks for goods that were immediately available. I paid for parcel shipping with tracking and the goods arrived in a bubble envelope without tracking. And the customer service also left a lot to be desired, first there was no reply and then only in French. I won't be ordering here again

The product was fine and reasonably priced, but it was not clear that 1001Hobbies.co.uk was actually in France so the delivery took ten days.

Ordering and paying is very easy. From that point on there is no information, no response to emails and they don't know what to say on the phone. It seems unbelievable, it's true.

I ordered a duplicate of a spray can I'd received from TAMIYA COLOR a few days earlier. On the cap of the spray can, the reference number is marked TS-81. In the search engine, if you type TS-81, you find NOTHING that corresponds to a can of Royal Light Grey paint. If you enter Royal Light Grey in "recherche" you find your spray paint product with not the reference TS-81 BUT TATS-81. By typing directly in "recherche" TATS-81 you find your product on the 1st try!!!! Those who developed the online sales site are not professionals and would do better to sell zucchini and turnips at the local market, I think they would have more skills!!! Really the site is very poorly done, but when you order several times you understand quickly!! Greetings
LONG DELAYS IN DELIVERY
To be improved clarity in delivery service. Like goods and customer service good.
Order came in good time but they sent a different bag which was completely the wrong one and then told me that it was the bag I ordered but a different colour which was not true, I did send pictures of the 2 styles but they were adamant that they were the same..
2 orders and many problems because the site is full of misprints (references and prices on spray paints that are not good, in reality I received pots!!) 1st order with more than 100 € benefiting from free shipping!! BUT only on Mondial Relay delivery! Surprise! 8.5€ invoiced! 1st telephone contact a commercial gesture was granted to me. I kept the jars received to simplify the eventual return (if return I had to send photos of the jars received (hello trust) then wait for a return voucher to cover costs and new shipment when the return voucher is validated is returned scanned and returned to 1001hobbies, in short a hopelessly cumbersome! Ordered for €20 out of my own pocket to get the bombs, as they were more expensive than the jars. I called the store manager to ask her to send me bombs in similar shades, as not all the colors I received in jars were available. OK for me on condition of having the paint cans on Saturday morning by colissimo (everything was frozen on Thursday afternoon, but this condition was not respected because the parcel was taken in charge only on Saturday morning. I had asked for a parcel to be sent by chronopost but this was not possible. 1001hobbies does not work with chronopost but it is offered when you place an order (but as 1001hobbies had commercially offered me free postage this would have cost them around 20 francs. I have the feeling that this company is not rolling in money, being unable to spend 20€ to remedy their errors (not errors in the plural you read correctly) the store manager has to refer to his management for derisory sums. MORALITY: time wasted because I got my bombs within 8 days, 6 e-mails and 3 phone calls for only 2 orders!!!! To all modelers: before validating an order at 1001hobbies check everything (go to delivery options and there you'll see that delivery is free above 69€, BUT only in a relay point, if you order bombs in the spray paint section, check availability and the price displayed by contacting 1001hobbies by TLP, which is not normal. Another point: if you have a choice between TRUMPETER , REVELL and TAMIYA for the same model, don't choose TRUMPETER , the assembly instructions are useless and the parts to be painted are badly indicated. Communication in regards to the shipping was very poor. I was told it would arrive in time for my sons birthday and it did not. I was disappointed.
My order took a month to arrive and without explanation, stuck in transfer, it's a bit long for an item in stock.
I had no trouble navigating the site, and the delivery of the products and telephone contact were correct. However, as far as the products are concerned, I was disappointed by the decal sheet. In fact, for the high price of this DACO DECAL item, I only got a few roundels and badges, but NO fuselage code, and only one profile out of two (same for the wings above and below). I've been a loyal customer for a very long time, so I'd like to understand how a product presented by the site is actually unavailable when it is elsewhere on the internet. Case of the 1/72 raiden/jack model... Pad happy and dishonest 1001

Takes persistently long for order to be delivered, 2 months is not an exception, by the way, delivered well taken care of, great stuff
Lots of choices, shipments on time but very disappointed with the products received. The metal earth models are too fragile and there are no replacement parts for small parts in particular. The parts to be bent break too easily in a few manipulations, they are small and fragile, even with tools, 2 ended up in the garbage and one is partially finished but missing an element that broke during assembly. What's more, the explanations are not at all clear. I've got one left, will it end up in the garbage can .... ?

Waited 2 weeks for shipping conformation,. After several attempts to have them email shipping info I filed a claim with pay pal. for help because it seemed to me they were giving me a runaround. 5 or so days later I received my order.i believe I would be waiting had I not. Order was correct and in good condition. Thank you pay pal.
I found what I was looking for, however, the shipping cost is too high.
My last order was rather disappointing. I had requested the order be canceled due to its prolonged time in being filled and my money refunded. The order for decals was several months in processing. The request was seen but ignored. I found this as being extremely unprofessional. The refusal to refund my money was annoying and frustrating. Since the order was several months old without being filled or any notice of anything being done till it was shipped months after the order was placed. This will affect any future orders, if any, that I place with 1001 Hobbies.

Packaging: Very well thought-out Delivery - Delivery time: RAS Model: "The tailplane / rudder" in plastic, color "Light gray", should have been painted blue like the fuselage! Fuselage paint: you should have chosen a blue that was "matt or slightly satin" for greater plausibility.
2 items purchased that are not usable, I hope to receive an item that works.

All-assembled figurines contrary to my habit of working with spare parts;no pleasure in creating.figurines added to my stock for later use.the capped heads can be adapted fortunately.

Shipping took a very long time and was delivered to the wrong address. There was an incorrect house number on the package.
The model kit was very poorly packed. It was not put into a separate box with packing material around it to protect its contents. Instead the model kit box itself was wrapped up in a little bit of covering and shipped. These model kit boxes are not very sturdy and the corner of the box was crushed when I received it. Fortunately, none of the parts therein seemed to be damaged. But that only means I was lucky. It's not hard to see how easily such poor packing could result in a badly damaged model kit. Do the right thing even though it will cost a little more in shipping. Put the model kits in a bigger shipping boxes and put some packing material around them. Other online retailers I deal with do this.
I am not happy, of the two models that I ordered I have only received one, the Diana vehicle, the other one "Waiting for replacement : Horch German Major Car (Kfz.15) Early Version" I have not had any news. I have tried to call several times and on the customer service phone there is a voice mail. The store has not contacted me by phone or email as other stores have done when an item was pending replacement. As long as I have no news from Customer Service or the model does not arrive I do not think I will buy again, it is a pity because it has good material that you can not find in other stores.
When you order, the product is in stock but for delivery you are missing part of the order and you do not communicate enough.
