First, the order took longer than you are led to believe at the time of purchase, I placed my order on December 5th and it only arrived on December 22nd. But I almost didn't receive it because the 1001 hobbies company didn't write down my complete address and that's why the letter carrier couldn't deliver it. Luckily I went to the office the same day to find out where my order was, otherwise they would have sent it back to France. In the mails I received from 1001 hobbies my address was always complete. This has been my case, I don't know how often this happens with this company.

1001 Hobbies has been a good source for tough to find European kits from makers like Heller models. While quite expensive, the Euro/ Dollar exchange rate is what it is.
The average rating is because of their awful packaging for overseas shipping.
Wrapping a very expensive kit with nothing but bubble wrap and tape?! Seriously?!
For what I paid in the price of the kits and shipping, I was awe struck by the way my $100+ Dollar order was shipped. I would gladly pay a little extra on top of the prices to have my orders properly boxed.
It's more than a little disappointing to spend this kind of money to have the goods shipped so carelessly.
