Order Shipping/Delivery time too long to the US I placed an order in late November for a Christmas present. I received no updates as to my order status. About a week and a half out from Christmas, I inquired as to the status of the order. I got, ""Thank you for your patience"", but no other information except my order is in process. It was obviously not coming in by Christmas, so I ordered something else from someone else. I sent 3 requests to cancel my order since it was still in ""process"" and hadn't shipped yet. The communications I received were, again, Thank you for your patience with NO acknowledgment of any of my cancellation requests! We are in the states and had I know this was coming from France, I would not have ordered it. And, I will never order from 1001 Hobbies again. The travel/ship time is too long and the order progress communication is non-existent. After ignoring all my requests to cancel and not wanting to refund any monies, my order came in Dec 29. I did receive some communications as to the delivery on Dec 27. Do not order form 1001 Hobbies from the US unless you have a 2-3 month delivery window.

I have not yet received my package… I have not yet received my package ordered on December 5th. It is now December 28th. I cannot get ahold of anybody in customer service. The phone number in Boston just rings and rings.

I placed an order for a Christmas gift that the site gave me was available with delivery by December 21. The day after payment came an email notifying me that the package was ready for shipment. After 7 days from the purchase i.e. when the product was supposed to be almost on the delivery date I was sent an email informing me that a supplier did not have a piece available to complete my order (nb: I ordered a mug the product is either in stock or it is not) and that they could not tell me when they would be able to ship my purchase. I called the customer number in imbufalance where the line would strangely drop after exactly 2 minutes of waiting. After several attempts and a threatening email, I managed to speak with a French operator who told me that the order would be delivered on the 22nd. In the meantime, they replied to the email without giving me any indication of supposed delivery time but simply asking if I wanted to cancel the order. Since by phone I was guaranteed a package for the 22nd I did not cancel. To date still no package has arrived and I am being asked for an evaluation. Very serious mistake! Here's to never again!

I will never buy anything here again. Allegedly, money had not arrived even though I had a receipt from the bank. This company cannot be reached by phone. First there is a tape message and then the busy signal! After I wrote a very clear email, they found my money and told me that the goods would be sent. Then it only took 3-4 weeks and ""poof"" the package was already there!

Ordered products and didn���t get a confirmation email just an email taking my payment. Researched website and it came up as a scam site, so sent an email cancelling my order and informing them that payment had been stopped. The next day received endless emails telling me couldn���t cancel my order etc etc. I did however receive delivery of the items however the boxes were damaged and looked like they had been opened and indeed sent out and returned before! All of the models had been removed from their spines and were just rolling around in the packaging. Not impressed and would never use these people again and would advise people to stay away from them. Especially as they are not the cheapest peo

The order arrived but contained a piece of heatproof glass with nothing else, certainly no model kit and not even a delivery note. I contacted customer service and 3 days later I received a response asking for photos of what I had received. I sent photos and another 4 days before I received a response advising the photos can't be opened and wishing me a happy Christmas season. I have resent the photos and received no response. I followed up with another email and almost a week later I have had no response. I paid over £50 for the kit and just want a refund now. I would not order again from this company. Mistakes happen but it's now two weeks ago since I reported the issue and I am not confident my money will be refunded.
