Absolutely terrible service took over… Absolutely terrible service took over 14 days to arrive for items that fitted in a large envelope type package , no updates , it took them 5 days before it was sent from the day of my payment for the order, the worst online shop I have ever used , no way to realistically contact and when I did email no reply after 3 emails , obviously they don’t care about their customers at all ! will not buy from again ever

Ordered on July 2nd and received on the 22nd! One item was missing and the parcel was damaged. After complaining to the after-sales service, the item was returned to me with the wrong reference number (although I had indicated by e-mail that the reference number was correct, but not the description). I therefore received an article that did not correspond. When I complained, I was told, not very politely, that it was I who had given the reference number. I'm not responsible for your problems with reference numbers.

I have seen some less than complimentary reviews of this company. Yes they are in France - and that made no impact on my getting delivery of my order. Sure it took a few weeks but there is the Atlantic Ocean to cross and honestly the supplies I ordered made it over here in reasonable time the price was right and I am quite satisfied.

1001 Hobbies was awesome. Even though I was in the states they took the time to respond to me on any questions I had and were able to let me know when my models would be available. My box was slightly squished but I'm sure that has to do more so with the shipping than this company. Overall highly satisfied with the quality of customer support and prompt shipping. Frankly inadequate. 9 days to ship a small photo-etched part which was in stock, then 15 days to arrive from Northern France to the UK. So 24 days in total. The management needs to review its procedures. There are plenty of model suppliers out there.

My first order was fantastic and smooth. DHL was expansive but incredibly reliable. No problem with that. My second order was with Callisimo which casted a lot of uncertainty because of previous first hand -ve experience. 13 days now after they claimed it has departed French airspace and I am still waiting for it here in HKG. We shall see.

Delivery far too slow, over 15 days. Order arrived incomplete. Figure arrived broken in packaging. I had to contact the after-sales service (efficient) and they sent me a voucher to be used on my next order (including high shipping costs for Belgium). 1001 is ridiculous 6 days ago l wrote a review under the title of ""1001 sucks."" On 7/23, l received an email advising me that my items had shipped and l would receive them in a few days. Well its now 7/27, and l have received nothing. I checked their sometimes working tracking site and it's difficult to understand because its all in French. I guess they don't understand that not everybody speaks French. As of today the tracking icon that shows you where the item is indicates that it is nowhere near being delivered. I don't even think it's reached the U.S. It seems they sent it via a raft. I don't expect it for at least another week. I noticed that while looking at other reviews the company only responds to positive reviews and publicly thanks those reviewers. However, they don't respond to negative reviews. I guess it's against their policies to publicly acknowledge and apologize for their mistakes. After my experience with this company l will never order from them again. I recommend you don't either. If you do it's at your own risk. You've been warned.

I payed for the fastest shipping option and they still took over 2 months. After I finally recieved the package I figured I could order the other things I wanted since the first one checked out (even with ridiculous time). But than a month after my second order I receive an email stating the items were listed at the wrong price , and they removed every single item I purchased from their website. Took them a month to let me know they messed up, AND THE REFUND STILL HASNT GONE THROUGH!!! Forgot to add this part too at first... but also when I asked them a question via email it took 4 days for a response and the answer was just PART OF MY OWN QUESTION COPY PASTED AND SENT BACK TO ME. Ordered a kit 9 weeks ago and was told that it had been dispatched a week later. After several email exchanges I requested an update or a refund to which the response was that they were still following up with Hermes. No further communication was forthcoming so I instructed my bank to reclaim a refund via the Chargeback arrangement which they did straight away. For more than 20 years I have ordered models from all over the world with few problems. Perhaps I was just unlucky but this was the first and last time I will use this supplier.

I ordered 3 Futaba BLS 253 servos for €106 each and received them about 2 weeks later. Unfortunately, one servo was defective right from the start, so I filed a warranty claim. After some tough e-mail correspondence, I was given a return address to which I should send the servo with a copy of the invoice. According to DHL shipment tracking, the shipment was delivered there on 23.06.2020. On 20.07. I asked when I can expect a refund or new delivery. On 21.07. Reply from 1001 Hobbies that my shipment has not arrived there. A refund will only be made once the shipment has arrived. And I simply do not believe that 1001 Hobbies does not want to have received the shipment - this shows the non-existent service concept of 1001 Hobbies. For me this is dubious! Do you really need to do that? You probably have to personally hand in a return against receipt in France to get a refund. I assume that the customer is being deliberately cheated here with warranty claims. I will definitely never buy from this company again and advise everyone not to do so. A good company shows itself when it comes to problems or service, and you can't expect anything from 1001 Hobbies. One star is still too many.
