I was specifically looking for a dodge viper body for my electric rc car, and came across many nitro versions I thought I had finally found the right one with you, but was sent a nitro version This was a bit of a disappointment.The shipping and communication were otherwise very well organized, only I understood the French emails very poorly because I do not speak French
When ordering due to computer error, it was unclear who I had ordered from and ended up in the French website
I received the package damaged and crushed. Compared to your shipping rates, which I find a bit expensive, your packaging is not rigid enough. As a result, the products inside are a bit crushed for items I was planning to give as a birthday present in 1 week's time (I hope there won't be any unpleasant surprises when I unwrap the gift).

Too long to get our order in
Initially not a positive experience, made payment but did not receive an order, later seemed to have been a bug in the system. Unreachable by phone, repeatedly emailed, but that did not provide a solution. Finally got someone on the line, who solved everything nicely. Too bad my son didn't get the promised item to make up for it. Car is super cool though!
Unfortunately it took a long time for the order to be delivered.
Figure was unfortunately no longer in its original packaging and has color abrasion. Too bad.

The package came in a box 3 times the size of the package to be received, and, even so, it arrived dented. I understand that with all the packaging it had, it had not been in transit, but was already packed with the blow. The order has to be placed without premium, approx. 10 days to arrive.
Processing took too long, I placed an order on the site for items declared to be in stock, and in the end half my order was out of stock. 3 months later they warned me that one of the items was unavailable for an indefinite period and issued me a credit note. when I received the parcel, two items were missing and there was no order summary sheet inside. It was only later that I realized they were missing, and with the waiting time I thought I'd ordered the 2 missing items elsewhere.

40 days delivery time is a bit too long.
I ordered decals, several orders: very poor quality for a delay of 2 months for one of the orders. I threw money out the window and illusions.

Satisfied with the products, but the delivery did take a very long time. Was beginning to think I had booked on a fake account and could whistle for the products ordered. An email that there is a delay will not be bad for delivery problems.
Let's see if we can fix the opinion-giving spam, you're not paying me to have to bother me this way.
Very late delivery and model ordered and paid for missing = Curtiss P 40 M
I placed the order on 01/29/2021 and it consisted of this item along with two others, which they did have in stock. After more than 15 days, I requested the shipment and they explained to me over the phone that the P-38 armament item would not be received from the supplier until March. I then demanded that they send me the other two, and you proceeded to divide the initial order into two parts. I finally completed receipt of the order a few days ago, almost two months after the initial order. Very poor communication and transparency on your part. I am sorry for this.

A little pricey compared to other online (or sometimes physical) stores, but does the job and does it well.
Site deserved more details on products. Prices a little high. Expensive delivery costs with long lead times.
I found the 1001hobbies site very easy to navigate & when I saw a kit that I was really wanting to purchase at a good price, I saw this one. I completed the purchase, including opening an account, very quickly on 3rd March, & waited for delivery. As this is the most expensive kit that I have ever bought, (I have in the past with other suppliers, purchased & paid the cost of the kit as advertised on the website). There was nothing on the order form I could find that informed me of any other costs. (billing informed me that tax was included within the price). After 5 working Days, I contacted 1001hobbies by Email for an update & was informed that it would be shipped within 2 to 3 Working days. (that was fine). I tried using the Tracking Facility on the website (typing in my Order Number), but that didn't work. On the 17th March I received an Email from the Carrier informing me that the package was on its way. On the 23rd March, I received a letter from "Parcel Force" informing me that a VAT charge + Clearance Fee was required to release this package. I Emailed 1001hobbies & tried to use the "Support" facility on the website. This only informed me that it would be answered "soon", (other websites can have an online chat available). As I didn't receive an answer by 24th March, I contacted "Parcel Force" & paid the extra charges. The kit was delivered on the 25th March. What an excellent model, really pleased with it. My reason for only giving 3 Stars is due to the "Not being aware the extra charges required to have this delivered",& taking 16 Working Days for it to be delivered. I have received an Email from 1001hobbies on the 26th March, informing me that due to BREXIT, orders over GBP132 are subject to taxes requested by customs. There is NOTHING that I could find on the Purchase Order informing me of this, even though in the same Email informs me that this information is indicated on the summary of my basket. I have since tried to find this & still cannot find it. My comment to 1001hobbies is, Please make this visible in UPPER CASE & HIGHLIGHTED, as you do for the "COVID HEADLINE ON DELIVERIES". As I know this information now, I will take this into account, if I use 1001hobbies again in the future.

Very late delivery
The paints are not all from the same range and some are of poor quality. The kawasaki light green ordered was khaki in color!!!!
My negative review relates only peripherally to the item I purchased. Unfortunately, however, the same came to me very damaged and missing some parts due to the Postal Carrier's mishandling of the packaging. I still preferred to repair the item instead of sending them back to the Sender. I thus took the opportunity to correct several inconsistencies and deficiencies in the model regardless of the damage done by the Carrier's carelessness. Obviously, I am not satisfied. But with the modifications I made and the repairs of the damage, I was able to donate the model to my grandson who appreciated it. The boy is 11 years old and certainly has no modeling pretensions. The delivery time was very long, too long, even considering the current situation, I think.
Too bad, my order is missing 1 item.

Items are passed between available products and undeliverable items. Pretty confusing.
I was caught by the variety of modeling products, I was looking for Russian ships and here I found them. Unfortunately there was a problem on the non-delivery of the order, it was lost, too bad because it was supposed to be a Christmas gift and ordering it 1 month or so before, I did not expect this. Contacted 1001hobbies several times and the order was shipped to me again without further charge, this shows the seriousness of the Company. However, the delivery waits are too long .
Despite the name 1001 Hobbies.co.uk, this is a French company. You think that you are buying from the UK and their site doesn't clarify that you are importing and subject to import charges. Any complaints are ignored and you no longer exist once they have been paid. I will never use them again. 0/10.

They have all the products you could want, but the machine translated descriptions are almost as bad as the Chinese ones on Amazon. Sometimes I can't figure it out and refrain from buying.

They took a long time to prepare and ship the order. Once it was shipped it arrived quickly but it had already been more than 10 days.
Ordered and paid item Dragon Apollo 17 1/72 suddenly unavailable and available. Need time to notice this and get refund.

The prices are very good, but the shipping costs are a bit high even if you make a large purchase. And the delivery time is very long (not even if the order came from China).
The Ugears 3D mechanical butterfly puzzle is poorly made. The pieces don't fit, even after sanding and lubricating. After 3 hours of work, we broke several pieces and couldn't complete the assembly. Assembly of the Wooden City mystery box is not yet complete, but I'm satisfied so far. The instructions are clear, the parts detach easily from the brackets, and the pieces fit together quite easily. The only drawback is that it's much smaller than the photo.
More than half of the order was unavailable, and the notification period was far too long. What's more, some of the items available and therefore delivered were directly linked to the unavailable part of the order: I wouldn't have ordered them if I'd known the rest would be unavailable. Benefiting from a credit note, I placed another order, only the payment was additional to the credit note, and I had to pay additional delivery charges. The unavailability procedure clearly needs to be reviewed. On the other hand, the quality of the articles and packaging remains impeccable.
