Imex Confederate Infantry - the lost battalion? Ordering, delivery and price were first rate - I will use again. I cannot say the same for the product. This set has been out of production for many years so I was lucky to find them but they are not as good as other figures in this series. I have compared them to the original poses on Plastic Soldier Review and these are just cheap copies in brittle plastic. I would love to know why Imex produced such an inferior set. Does anyone know the story behind this?

I'm very happy to see that the 172e soldiers still exist. Well, they cost around 500€ and not 120 Francs like at my local tobacconist's 40 years ago - which is quite an increase in the price of plastic. But the service is fast and impeccable. I'll be back at 1001 maqu

I ordered it and was advised via e-mail that the model would have to be shipped from overseas to the warehouse in Arkansas and then to me. The item I wanted arrived eventually and in excellent condition. I was very pleased with my dealings with 1001modelkits.
