Untrustworthy seller Seller's website said model was available and would ship in 10 days. 21 days later, no update, no tracking number, no status. Emails were responded to with generic ""we will let you know when we receive a status"". After 45 days I got a refund. They processed my refund timely, so I suppose that's a positive? Now I missed my uncle's birthday, and will have to order from scratch from somewhere else. Don't order from here if you have a deadline to mee!

I have not received either the order or the tracking number of the order.
Even after 10 days, the model I ordered and paid for has still not arrived. The delivery time was given as 6 to max. 9 days.
I bought some RC nn ship anything just a very slow order too that magazine . and i am new in comerce RC ( i buy and sell ) and that site is not good for me because all mei order in stop .. sorry for my language i am not Italian to speak well

I premise that my situation started by placing an order on 200514 has yet to be concluded...on 2105 I made the transfer and on 2605 they wrote me:"" YOUR ORDER IS READY YOU CAN ACCESS THE TRACKING OF YOUR SHIPMENT."" As well as' after my reminders as I could not find the said tracking and on the site gave my order still in processingthe day 0306 found this excuse that I have also read on other posts : "" FOLLOWING THE ERROR OF A SUPPLIER WE ARE ALWAYS WAITING FOR THE ITEM"": but how? Wasn't my order already ready? And then when I had made it the item in question was available even reported 4! 0806:"" THE PRODUCT IS SOLD OUT AND YOUR ORDER CANCELLED. WE WILL REFUND YOU AS SOON AS POSSIBLE."" Only after 3 more days they asked for my information to make the transfer and the next day I sent it to them punctually. the 1606:""THE REFUND SHOULD BE MADE TODAY OR IN THE NEXT DAYS"" . Of course the SHOULD was a must since to date (220614) I have not received anything yet and their response time to my emails has always been biblical. I hope the situation will be resolved as soon as possible since it has now been a month since my payment and two weeks since they said I would be refunded.... Conclusion:never had a worse experience even remotely comparable!

I placed my order on May 29, 2014, today is June 12, 2014, and I still haven't received anything. What's more, some CHRONOPOST delivery drivers systematically put a delivery notice on the pretext that I'm absent (whereas most of the time I'm at home).
WORST INTERNET PURCHASE EVER This company is apparently strictly a 'middleman' that does not warehouse its products except in very few rare cases if you read any other reviews or take my impression. At no time did they have a clue as to my order status, location of said order, or real time stock quantities. Customer service is automated, with canned responses, and few and random. I should have been clued by their policy of charging for the item when ordered, not when shipped, so you have no option to cancel or refund an order after no contact or response after an extended wait period. If you use them expect double the wait for shipping and handling (items ship to them and then to you) and notice fluctuating site pricing. It took my order three weeks to arrive, and they said it was crossing the Atlantic the day before it was dropped on my porch on the US west coast. Most of their stock is sold to the public directly through the manufacturers. Good luck.

When they do send something, they send the wrong items. Perhaps next time they should make sure the guide dog is awake when picking stock how an American landing craft can look like a Tiger II I don't know clever German camouflage I suspect. Avoid this firm like the plague. My advice is to buy from (external reference) in the UK. I will from now on.

I can not comment on the model because as of today I have not yet received it. When I receive it, I will send you my opinion.
More than 17 days waiting for the order without any explanation from 1001 maquet
Never again the company 1001 modellbau I have paid and got nothing more capitalistic is not possible. Helmut Seichter Erfurt.
Order placed on 2801 also paying extra to have expedited shipping part of the goods received on 2802 after continuous requests for timelines and explanations about the lentency of the supply. Last product of the order arrived on 0404 after my express request to receive at least the products in stock. Only explanation received ""error on the part of one of our suppliers"" and uan promise of discount on next shipping charges. Final verdict very bad no comprehensive explanation received luckily I had chosen express shipping.
Unfortunately, the prices are exorbitant and the selection is too small for my needs.

Waste of time and money Hey, I would like to share with you my worst buying experience I've had so far , here are the details of the case : I saw many publications in magazines of models building from about 1001modelkits.com , after I checked and compared prices and seeing positive reviews online I decided to try and do a purchase from them. the site seem very impressive and serious , with huge stock and tempting prices - including low postage. I made the purchase at 7.3.14 and according to the site terms it has been said that the shipment will be sent in no more than 48 hours. After several days that i did not received from them any email to document the purchase (which I usually get right away from my experience from buying in many websites) I contacted their customer service department and after a few days I received the following laconic message : "" Dear customer , Rest assured that we do our best to deliver our customers quickly. You will receive a tracking number as soon as the package is sent. Best regards, Customer service 1001modelkits"" Since the message said nothing about delivery time, estimated shipment or reason for the delay (all products were marked as available and in stock ) I tried to contact again to their customer service department with email's and direct messages to their online services but until now I did not get any response or any replay . this looks like just a scam to rub you out of your money!

I have tried to contact 1001maquetas several times without success. The only thing I have left before initiating a claim through the official channels is to explain my problem here to see if someone from the company sees it and contacts me. Incomplete order no answer after cont
Order placed on Feb 10 and immediately paid by credit card on Feb 25 I am notified that the item is no longer available and that I will be refunded the amount. I ask for a credit note x make another purchase and no response is given to me.... Not first but certainly last purchase I make on this site. Previous purchases of available material have also been very slow to arrive!
Order placed on 19-02-2014 as of 26 -02-2014 I still don't know anything.Emails of explanations sent with no response of course.The order still appears to be in processing and no tracking number has been provided to me. My case is simple, I order two models and I only get one of them. I tried to contact them explaining the problem and I have not had any response .... and it has been 10 days. Given this lack of response, I do not recommend anyone to buy any item through this website.
I'm not happy with 1001 maquettes. I placed my order on January 31st and it hasn't been delivered, even though my account has been debited...
Nearly 10 days after the order still nothing received after more than 2h30 of telephone waiting enamelled of several hang-ups to the systematic nose one deigns finally to speak to me by making me well understand that I e them ..... Unacceptable sales and delivery behaviour. Ghostly after-sales service, abusive shipping costs, in short, a seller to be avoided. Pay him preferably with paypal in case of problem possibility to open a dispute is to hope for a refund If the package is lost. With paypal, if a dispute arises, the seller must provide proof of shipment. However, 1001 shipments seem to be random and not their main concern, so taking a few precautions is essential, and it's not over yet. After 2 complaints, 1 phone call and 1 e-mail, they promise delivery but forget to say when. I'm afraid I've invested too much and never receiving my model seems extremely risky.
Out of three planes bought two are without the plastics for the cabin windows shameful!!!! I will NEVER buy anything again!!!

Content of an e-mail sent by me to kontakt@1001modellbau on January 29, 2014 but not yet answered: Dear Sir or Madam, About an hour ago, the Italeri C47 Skytrain 1:72 model kit I ordered from you was unfortunately delivered by DHL in a miserable condition. A truck must have driven over it (see attached photos!). You can no longer build a model from this kit! Since I paid in advance via paypal including the transportation costs, I expect a delivery in proper condition. What happens now? I expect a reply e-mail from you immediately.
