The delivery was prompt. Unfortunately, the jars were not delivered chilled, and that at an outside temperature of 30°. I had to fear that the foie gras was no longer edible. Of the three jars, only one contained a whole piece of liver. In the other two, small pieces were "pressed in". Too bad, because this made nice plating impossible. However, the quality was very good.

Hello Ursula, thank you for your feedback. The jars contain goose liver preserves and are indeed not chilled. Although the products are still perfectly enjoyable, the consistency can be affected by transport at high temperatures in summer. In this case, we recommend ordering with express shipping, which can be selected for free at checkout for new customers on purchases over €90. The canned goose liver is perfect. I was particularly impressed by the semi-cooked duck liver. Furthermore, I find it extremely positive that you get a discount when you order more. I would also like to commend your shipping logistics; it is impressive that the goods are delivered from France to Austria within 3 days.

A delivery company is chosen by Foie Gras Gourmet that does not transport food on Sundays and public holidays. Food items are then left somewhere in a distribution station or in a transport vehicle because one wants to spend Sundays and public holidays elsewhere instead of delivering goods. My delivery took almost 9 days. Customer service informed me that I should have chosen an "Express" delivery otherwise.

Hello Martin, no transport company operates on Sundays and public holidays. Your order was delivered within 5 working days, which corresponds to the standard delivery time. As already mentioned, the ordered products are canned goods that can be stored at room temperature for years. To receive your order as desired within 1 to 3 days, please choose DHL Express shipping.
