Great to be able to find zip elements to repair closures without having to change everything! Your videos are very clear, however for my case it was not realistic at all: The closure was sewn to my coat so I could not use the same pliers as in the video because I was hindered by the coat fabric. The torn sleeve had no support to be slipped on so I had to recreate it with thread.
The first sleeve I crimped broke. The sleeve not crimped enough does not hold in place and the one too crimped bends in two. It is very precise the spot and the force where you need to press and maybe this could be specified in your demo videos.
