Very nice finish, a Laguiole worthy of the name, the only thing that bothered me is at the level of the handle which is made of light horn but one side is gray and the other side is more brown, but it's just a small detail that doesn't take away from the very nice quality and finish. This shows that in France we still have very good craftsmen and exceptional know-how.

Regarding the delay, we took 7 working days to manufacture, ship, and deliver the knife to you, this was at the beginning of May amidst weekends and public holidays.

Hello, We are very disappointed, my wife and I, with the engraving of the name "Johann" on the knife we gave him for Christmas. The marking is unreadable. OK, the engraving is free. But then offer a paid engraving that is readable. I can send you a comparative photo of your engraving with that of the knife my son gave me. It's night and day. Very good quality workmanship. I just find that the blade lacks "edge" compared to the one I own from La Forge...but I'll be delighted to visit your cutlery. As far as delivery is concerned, the parcel leaves your premises in Brive, goes up to Paris and then down to Valence...ecology? But we have a good tracking system. Sincerely

The knife was delivered on time and it looks very nice, the engraving on the handle is also very beautiful. I can't comment on the quality as it was a gift and I'm not familiar with knives. The only thing to criticize is that the parcel was simply left on my doorstep and not delivered to the parcel store as I had requested. With a knife costing just under €300, it would have been really stupid if it had been lost or stolen on the doorstep.

They responded very kindly to my subsequent order and added it to the package of the first order. Unfortunately, the postage costs are very high. The assembly instructions are not really usable: the translated text is incomprehensible and the exploded drawing did not belong to my knife. It goes without saying that a do-it-yourself kit should also include the necessary tools. How am I supposed to know which of the individual tools on offer I will need? A mini bottle of wood oil would be nice!

A magnificent knife, very well made, I can feel that it was made with love for a job well done. One small downside, it wasn't sharpened. I claimed Whit Sunday by e-mail, and on Whit Monday, Monsieur Durand replied to my e-mail and sent me a link to edit a return slip. It's remarkable that they took the time to follow up my complaint on a public holiday.
I'd like to point out that this is an exceptional achievement by a person who is totally committed to his company and respectful of his customers. I recommend this company and its website, you can buy with confidence. I thank Mr Honoré Durant and his team and I will order from them again, another or other exceptional knives.
