My companion is happy with his knife. The only negative point is that the carbon blade (steel in fact) rusts, and I didn't know that. It's not clearly indicated on the site. Had I known, I would have ordered a stainless steel blade for 7€ more. As a result, he can't use it for every meal. It's a shame.

The translation program from French into German should be revised... that made the order a bit tedious.

The rendering of handle materials (wood and other) is not sufficiently precise (magnifying glass effect). Apart from these minor issues, all's well!
My only problem was the delivery email was in French , and as we live in Australia and unable to speak or read French this caused a problem

The site's ergon could be improved, and especially if the knives for sale are already produced, it should be possible to see them once the material has been chosen, to appreciate the darker or lighter shades of the horn or the hues and grain of the wood.

The kit was given to me as a gift. The instructions are very inadequate; I had to go on the Internet to get a demonstration of how to prepare and assemble it. The piece of wood supplied for the handle is too fragile and split; I replaced it with marine plywood. Too bad!
As for the handle splitting, it's quite surprising (as the wood is quite soft) and the first time we've had this feedback from a customer; perhaps you didn't use the right drilling diameter in relation to the diameter of the handle fixing screws... I remain at your entire disposal, Yours faithfully

The site is not as ergonomic as it could be. I think there's room for improvement to make it easier to find what you're looking for.
Very good site, but the search filters should be able to be multiple (within a category: possibility of selecting different blade lengths, for example) to facilitate product visibility.
It's a pity that the inscription noted on the internet order form was not taken into account.

Quality of the blade spring. The quality of the spring that holds the blade open is inferior to that of my previously purchased Laguiole Durant knives. As a result, the pressure of the blade in the open position is soft, and the blade does not spring back strongly when the blade is opened even slightly – let's say an angular opening of one to two millimeters and even a little more.

After purchasing a knife from the prestige range, on receipt I noticed a defect that doesn't go unnoticed.so after an exchange of emails, the knife was exchanged and the shipping costs refunded. To sum up, the after-sales service is good, but a more thorough quality control is needed. It's a pity, because the knife is of good quality.

Improvement following a product sale: I bought a product from the prestige range for a purchase of over 150 €.
I received the product ordered without having signed for the parcel on arrival (yet it was marked sending the parcel by colissimo with signature).
Similarly, a few days after my purchase, I also received an advertisement by e-mail announcing that for the purchase of a product of the brand of more than 80 €, a knife case was offered free of charge.
I find it a great pity for the consumer that I am not to be warned at the time of my initial order of this potential gift (especially as I had made an order of more than 150 €! ).

Rather disappointed... The knife itself is beautiful. Dark horn, forged bee stainless steel bolsters. But my eye was quickly drawn to an anomaly that seems to have escaped quality control.
The tip of the blade, is either badly forged, or badly ground when sharpened. This makes it look like it's been used as a lever...(I know this isn't the case)
It's a present for my son's 18th birthday. I'm not going to return it as we live in Quebec and delivery has already cost enough.
But for my other sons, I'll look elsewhere.

An "unguilloched spring" option would be interesting, as this part can easily be worked on with a file.
Needs improvement: Fast, compliant delivery
Aesthetically pleasing knife but unfinished details and finishes (non-symmetrical bee, scratched wooden handle).
Original product, but lacks a minimum of finish, even for a DIY enthusiast. Contrary to the presentation photo, the wooden handle is not worked at all.
The packaging is not suitable for a gift. A box would have been better than a simple plastic sleeve.
Lack of detailed instructions: the Laguiole kit I bought is very good, it just lacks detailed instructions that would have prevented me from making mistakes in the sequence of things to do and given me more information for the final adjustment.

Product darker than on photo: nice site, product arrived in good condition, knife darker than on photo, gift wrapping not great, impeccable packaging to protect knife from transport, engraving on blade normal.
Knife assembly kit: Disappointing product quality, mediocre finish, won't last if used. Decorative object only. Do not recommend, disappointed. On the other hand, very good service, appreciable follow-up, serious.
