It is possible to personally configure the knives here. And it's not my first knife. The customer service responds quickly and is very friendly, but you should be aware of this. Outside in the supermarkets or other stores, there are many who copy the Laguiole design or keep to the quality. Here you have the opportunity to buy directly from the manufacturer in France and can therefore be sure of receiving excellent quality. Years later, I am still delighted with the workmanship and edge retention of Honore Durand (Laguiole) knives.

The purchase from Laguiole Honre Durand was to my complete satisfaction. My wishes were met very correctly and I am absolutely satisfied with this company.
So far I have bought four kits for Laguiole knives (12 and 11 cm, steel and brass). The purchase process and delivery went smoothly every time. The products are correctly and sufficiently described. For those who can and want to think a little, the translations into German and the ordering process are no problem at all. Of course, you have to be able to read correctly that the kits are suitable for people with manual skills and require manual finishing, then you won't experience any unpleasant surprises. The kits have turned out to be wonderful, valuable knives. My special requests were also fulfilled as far as possible. I got to know Mr. Honoré Durand as a humorous, sociable, accommodating person (unfortunately not in person, but only through correspondence). All in all, I am completely convinced by LAGUIOLE Honoré Durand and 100% satisfied. I will continue to buy kits from them in the future.

Comparison of knives didn't work or I never figured out how to make it work. The definitions pages are not completed yet and some of the lingo isn't common knowledge. Often when I was trying to find something using the banner menu, a screen kept popping up with 6 or 8 squares that had nothing to do with what I was trying to find.
