The knife I received is beautiful and fits perfectly in my hand. The sharp, precise edge is a pleasure to look at and use. A blue-stained beech handle with shades of wood and blue. Less pronounced than in the photos, but I think this will also change over time. Beautiful reflections in the sun. And above all, perfect assembly.

The knife is magnificent, I had his name engraved on the blade, the engraving is of beautiful quality. The forged bee is more elegant than the welded one. The delivery time is reasonable considering the quality of the product. I'd like to recommend it.

After a visit to the cutlery workshop a few months ago, impressed by the craftsmen's know-how, I chose to offer a knife from these workshops: a magnificent damascus blade, which I was offered to choose, matched with an equally beautiful horn tip handle. I received the knife. Another fine piece of French craftsmanship. Also, bravo; last year you took a legal step forward so that a knife bearing the Layole name could be made only in the village of Laguiole. The battle isn't over yet. But the hope of a positive conclusion is highly likely within a reasonable timeframe. A discerning collector of this uniquely designed knife should only buy from one of the village's two major foundries. Unless there's a small independent artisan. I don't know about that. I've never been to the village.
