I wanted a pocket knife that matched a cheese knife I'd already bought, but I didn't like the one on the site, which was too plain.
So I explained what I wanted and they took me photos of another handle that matched what I wanted.
I've just received it and I'm happy with the result.
We have already bought 3 cheese knives for us and our children and a pocket knife for my husband in June 2004.
The blade of my husband's knife broke 2 years ago and was replaced free of charge.
I recommend Honoré Durand cutlery

Laguiole, always a beautiful image: The site is easy to navigate, and choosing the type of knife is no problem. Delivery is fast and without surprises.
Fearless efficiency, bravo: I know the point of sale on the spot and the team bends over backwards to inform you and serve you, and I found the same efficiency by mail order, a little phone call to ask for precision on the color of wood, a person listening inquires if the specificity is available positive response, I fill out my order via a small insert (it arrives at the end you must be patient) and the Laguiole (Layole 😉) arrived very quickly just as I wanted.

Authenticity, humility and friendliness. I don't know the quality of "La Forge" products, but I've visited Christophe Durand's facilities several times. The website is very well done, and keeps you in touch with this superb company. When you see master craftsmen like Jean-Michel Cayron sharpening your knife in the Laguiole store, these people know how to maintain a certain humility and a contact whose essence is nothing other than passion. Go and see them! And you'll be able to touch the real thing!
Perfect parcel! Excellent delivery time for the holidays! Serious! Although the cost of shipping is very high, delivery time respected, correct packaging, material corresponds to our expectations, serious follow-up, quality material tested the same day!
There's nothing to complain about except the high cost of transport (docks as expensive as the order)!
