The compression effect is very appreciable. The whole is close to the body. I am 1,76m tall and weigh 64kgs. The size M top and bottom is perfect. Moreover this pack is simple, beautiful and breathes quality. It is sure that it is expensive but the difference with other brands that I tried is obvious.
