The choice of box size was made to protect the product from potential crushing and the size of the bag containing the insects is determined by our packaging machine. A bag too small and the insects will be crushed by the jaws that are used to seal the bag. A bag too large and it's an unnecessary use of plastic. Thank you for this feedback, however, we have not received any complaint from you, we could have found a solution. Moreover, in case of receiving a damaged package, our customers are invited to refuse delivery or to make reservations so that we can act with the postal service.
Finally, it is unfortunately impossible for us, for cost reasons, to use thicker boxes. JIMINI'S covers a large part of the shipping costs in addition to the postal fees partially covered.
