A little disappointed by the tube of gels which are not very practical to use because of the aluminium lid. Otherwise the products are excellent

The lid is to be removed before the start of your race or training and your problem is solved.
If you have a better solution to guarantee the conservation of the product and its inviolability do not hesitate to share it.

I received the goods shortly after placing the order. All the stuff were well-packed and in excellent condition. I have not used them yet. I had used the Mulebar gel (Apple) in the past on long distance runs (50k multiple times and 70k once) and found it to be stomach friendly and it kept my energy level. I like its taste - sweet but with a tad of savoury thus did not feel bland after long hours. However, the bottle was not quite sturdy. On one occasion, I dropped it accidentally and the rim of the bottle neck cracked. On another, I bumped it on a rock accidentally and its cap broke. On both occasions, the gel content leaked and my hands and my backpack became sticky and messy. Looking forward to trying the other tastes, e.g. lemon, salted caramel and coffee.

I don't know how to create products that can resist to crash again rocks. They are not design for that sorry.

I love their products since many years, I am faithful to my salted butter caramel, and recently to the pineapple coconut cereal bars. The products are healthy, no preservatives, the contribution during my mountain bike rides is significant. Box became French moreover! Probably some of the best energy and recovery bars out there. They stay good and easy to chew and digest whatever the temperature. The only caveat as with many other bars is the opening on a bike: there should be a precut vertical rip guide.

My opinion is for the moment on the speed of delivery which is perfect! I just tasted the 4 gels and it is already very good. The 60ml silicon vials are really good, it's a pity they are not graduated. I will give my opinion on the effectiveness once the products are consumed. I am happy with Mulebar for the moment.
