As Friday July 14th was a public holiday, your parcel was delivered by the post office to the chosen relay point on Saturday July 15th. When ordering, you were able to view these charges. As for taxes, they are characteristic for each country and we do not know the details and subtleties of each tax system, even more since Brexit.
