It would indicate that each stick would last 2 months with a cleaning before use and every month. To know about the effectiveness indicated in the description, nothing proves it to us without analysis but in any case, the water of the tap in a carafe with the stick during 4 hours does not have any taste nor of smell and seems better than without.it is a gain for our health and our budget because more need to buy heavy packs of water.
