I live in an area with very hard water. The beads worked well in the water pitcher, in the coffee machine tank, and in the dishwasher. For the electric kettle they didn't work well, but I put a bottle of water with beads next to it that I use to fill the kettle.

We have been fans of these pieces of charcoal for a few years now, which allow us to purify water. The technique is very simple. Since we have abandoned plastic bottles, they are ideal companions. However, it is necessary to let the water rest for several hours for it to be effective. This is the only drawback of this technique.

I love the taste of water with these bamboo filters, so much more effective than the ceramic beads that they try to sell us as "eternal" and which break and do not prevent limestone as advertised, here the sticks are valid for 6 months (actually 5 following my first purchase) we can recycle the charcoal in the plants afterwards. it filters well, the water looks softer
