Then you can place them in various places to reduce the lime content and fight its harmful effects on the containers.I have applied for a few days the advice given by placing them in the kettle, the water carafe, the water tank of the coffee machine, a watering can and a water can of large capacity for the water trough of our chickens (I wish in the long run to avoid the greening of the water as well).I count 15 small pearls per liter of water because our water is hard. All the pearls are used but the manufacturer indicates that the life span is very long if we revitalize them! I note at the level of the kettle much less limestone deposited, I waited 15 uses before putting back vinegar. The lime really holds much less. As far as the water carafe is concerned, it replaces my Brita filter and it tastes just as good! As for the other uses, it's still a bit early to give my full opinion, but the manufacturer says that in the watering can it's good for the plants thanks to the micro-organism, so it's a less expensive solution to get rid of the chore of cleaning the limestone and to remove the bad taste of the tap water. I like it a lot and I'm going to buy some again to test the use in the dishwasher! ??????

These ceramic beads are very effective against limescale, it is easy to see that.as you must before the first use boil them in water for 10 minutes, I use a black pot and when it is boiling, I put the beads for the time indicated.after 10 minutes, I remove the beads to let them dry.I then note the extent of limescale deposited in the pot and around.Take the same clean pan, put cold water, put the pearls at the bottom (10 or 15 for 1 liter), for 10 minutes, remove the pearls and boil the water, and then, before your astonished eyes, you will notice that there is no trace of limestone in the pan !!!!For chlorine odors it's the same, 10 minutes in the water and no more odors or bad taste. I put it in the tank of my coffee maker is effective, but I have not yet tested in the dishwasher, but it should work.

Very efficient, the Orinko ceramic beads are the first ones I used more than a year ago, and I'm delighted because to this day they still haven't moved.it's a much easier product to use than filters or carbon-based sticks, which have a much shorter life span.It is an excellent product, which is deposited directly at the bottom of a carafe and / or a tank of electric machine (coffee machine, central steam, ...), to purify and soften the water contained. The water treated in this way is very good to drink, it keeps all its qualities and taste intact.As for the tanks of the machines, the pearls will act directly on the limestone and thus avoid any deposit of tartar, which in the long term tends to disturb their good functionings.they can be used also in its refrigerator to preserve the fruits and vegetables longer, it is enough for that to simply deposit them at the bottom of the vegetable tray.This box contains a total of 80 pearls, which is more than enough to equip several carafes, a coffee machine, a central steamer, a kettle and the crisper.with an exceptional value for money, I highly recommend these Orinko pearls.

It's practical, natural and doesn't require any equipment except for a bottle with a big neck. I can't say if it's really efficient, but at worst, it doesn't hurt. I read a lot of articles about the purification benefits of charcoal.

Very nice discovery.not knowing much about the use of white charcoal.As for the use, it is very simple. You just have to boil the stick 10 minutes before the first use, then renew it once a month.the rest of the time, you just have to leave the charcoal in the carafe and put water in it.I have to say that the result has bluffed me. Indeed, I did not think that it would have a real impact on the taste of the water and yet, it is the case. My tap water doesn't taste very good but with these charcoal sticks, the unpleasant taste goes away directly, making the water taste very good. Each stick should last 6 months. Each stick should last for 6 months, so with this batch of 6 sticks, you can last 3 years.be careful, for a real effect, you have to let the stick infuse for a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 8 hours. Personally I leave it 8 hours in order not to have any more bad taste.

I found tap water undrinkable and hated the taste of water filtered in a brita, I was surprised. Tap water not only loses its chemical taste but also takes on the taste of spring water. I never drink spring water anymore and drink at least one liter of filtered water every day. I filter 1,5l in a glass bottle during 4h and it's perfect. Be careful not to leave it too long, otherwise the water takes on a slight charcoal taste.

I have been using it for a week now every day to purify tap water. There is no particular taste. The sticks are a bit fragile because the first one I used broke when I put it in the carafe.
