First of all, they are much more ecological since they can be reused after washing, they are made of bamboo and remain hygienic, there is no worry about that. Secondly, I find them much more efficient because cotton swabs push earwax to the bottom of the ear, which accumulates and eventually creates a plug. Here it is not the case because the small spoon-shaped tip removes everything. You just have to do it gently and be careful not to push it in too far. These are the second ones I've tested and I prefer them to the others because the tip is thinner and more precise. I recommend it, and the salesman sends advice on how to use it by email, which is great.
