I tested these ceramic pearls which are supposed to improve the quality of water and reduce limescale.I followed the instructions before using them, that is to say, boil the pearls in boiling water for 10 minutes and then dry them.I then divided them into two packages, one that I put in my kettle and the other in the water tank of my coffee pod maker.After a few weeks, it seems to me that the water of my kettle is of better quality but there is still some scale at the bottom of the tank, despite the pearls.As far as the coffee maker is concerned, I didn't have until now the red indicator light indicating that it is necessary to descale the coffee maker.To see in the time if these pearls are really effective, that is to say when my coffee maker will ask to be descaled.

at the time I had had them much cheaper than now I would not take them back due to the current price I had paid only 12e they do the job but they are far too fragile after a while it ends in small pieces

I chose these ceramic beads to improve the taste of my tap water, which is particularly chlorinated. You just have to put a dozen beads in 1 liter of water for 30 minutes to 1 hour to get a much better taste. Indeed, it seems to work. The pearls are indestructible and they slightly remove the chlorinated taste of water. The concern for me lies more in the difficulty of putting the pearls on and taking them off rather than in the effectiveness. Let me explain: the pearls come in a small cardboard box, without a muslin bag or tweezers. Slipping them into a carafe for 30 minutes is more complicated than it seems because there is no suitable container. For the moment I use my tea infuser, but I am not very satisfied with this process. I don't want to use plastic, so I'm thinking of looking for tea filters maybe, to solve the problem of moving the beads. Otherwise, I would like to know if leaving the beads in the water carafe all the time is a problem?

I can't make tests to measure and check the composition of the water. I would have appreciated to find studies, reports certified by independent organizations. The little cardboard box was opened and half of the beads were floating around in the envelope. 10 beads are enough for 1 liter. We can have 2 bottles to use alternately with these beads. You can use one of these bottles to fill the tank of the coffee machine or a kettle.for the moment, I did not feel any particular taste.

Not convinced... We live in a region where the water is not really hard, so it's hard to say if these ceramic beads are effective on hardness... On the taste of chlorine, as it is necessary to wait 30min before consuming the water and that it is usually the time I wait when the water has just been treated for the chlorine to evaporate, these pearls are not very useful to me...

These little pieces of ceramic leave marks on the glass bottle in which I had placed them. It was deceptive because, at the beginning, I was juggling with 2 bottles. As soon as I poured myself a glass of water, I filled up the missing one immediately and let it sit for the recommended 30 minutes. But one day, I didn't fill it up as I was using it, and I can tell you that I saw traces of limescale!

Having a very hard water obliged to put 15 pearls in 1L and still it is not that. I think that it is very effective on a medium hard water

I had done a limescale test once, and I have limescale water at my tap, so I wanted to try these ceramic beads. I did several tests and I don't feel any difference in the taste, but I didn't have any limescale test left... So I don't have an objective test. So I didn't have an objective test, so I went on the net to see if the effectiveness of the ceramic beads was proven, and apart from some dubious sites, I didn't find anything... So I can neither confirm nor deny the effectiveness of these balls. If I can find a test, I will do it because I am really curious. The idea was interesting but I find this system a bit dangerous. The wood is very hard and in spite of a curved shape at the end, it risks to touch the eardrum. It's a pity.

I was already familiar with the principle of activated carbon to purify tap water, having used it extensively. Until then, I used long enough sticks that I could put in a water carafe without any problem, but now, the sticks are not so long but they are much too thick for me to put them in my water carafe, so I have to split them in two or even in three, which is far from being easy. It's a pity.

Good for kids, not so good for adults. Obviously, children don't do it by themselves. I find the tip a little thin compared to the one I had in metal.

Beautiful packaging. Contractual. However with the use, the water always seems the same. In relation to another charcoal bought in organic store (three times more expensive), it does not seem to purify anything! I remain doubtful about its real benefits... I would not buy again from this brand.

These beads have a lot of uses, in a pitcher/bottle maybe, but they are also used in plant pots to aerate the soil, in aquariums to make bacterial nests, in decantation filters to clean the water for the fishes, these beads are not too bad, but they can be found much cheaper for a bigger quantity in an aquarium store.

Does not match the description. The beads are very large, not what I ordered. The seller offered me a refund of half the amount. Very good communication, too bad the item did not meet my expectations.

Disappointed by this product which can be used only 2 months, I find that little compared to other charcoals which are usable 6 months. I find the charcoal very fragile and I am afraid that it does not hold... in short I do not.
