You'd think that the tank carbon filters sold in sets of 2 were made in France if you look at the illustration of the tank filter set on sale, since the French flag is featured prominently. The tank must be French but the filters are Chinese! I don't know if they're controlled on how they're made? I hope so. I find it confusing. Hence my 4 stars and not 5.

Good product SAV ABSENT

The water purified by the ceramic beads and binchotan is very pleasant to drink. After 3 days, the binchotan has broken in two. This does not alter the taste.

I'm quite satisfied with my cartridges, although I haven't had enough experience yet. I'm surprised by the speed of filtration. I had Doulton cartridges before and filtration was drip-feed. The ORINKO instructions state that filtration takes 4 hours...My filtration took barely 2 hours. I hope that the value for money, given the much longer life of these cartridges than the Doultons, is as reliable.

Expected results . The water treated with binchotan is drinkable with a correct taste. With the addition of ceramic pearls, we should achieve perfection.

Fine, but your instructions tell you not to leave the charcoal in the water, whereas the ones I ordered before didn't ask you to do that.

Very nice decanter, the water is good, but there's still some limescale. I used to be a Brita fan, but this one was more efficient in this respect.

After a slow and uncommunicative service, I acknowledge that I received a parcel with coals in perfect condition and I thank you for it.

Nice decanter, practical for storing charcoal and ceramic granules. On the other hand, its narrow neck doesn't make cleaning very easy, and I wonder if the stopper prevents the chlorine from evaporating?

Too bad the carafe is made in China...

Happy with my purchase. This carafe filter reduces the taste of tap water. The mouthfeel is softer.

I'm not very satisfied: - ordering error: I received only 1 carbon instead of 3. This will be rectified, but it's taking a long time. - the charcoal received floats, regardless of the amount of water put in the carafe: as a result, it's in permanent contact with the air and the surface area submerged is less. The instructions state "if the charcoal floats in the water, please contact us". The solution suggested in a (sympathetic) e-mail from customer service = buy a specific decanter from Orinko or calculate the buoyancy (formula on wikihow) to find out the right quantity of water... the charcoal still floats and I don't want to buy an expensive decanter. As for the effectiveness of the charcoal and pearls, I trust them, as I have no way of checking. Conclusion: small company in the process of being organized, undoubtedly good products, friendly customer service.

The diameter of the sticks is too wide to pass the neck of my flasks, which is twice as wide as a bottle! I'm very disappointed.

i like orinko charcoals but i was disappointed by the size which is half of what i thought from the pictures on the website.

Package received quickly but 2 pearls broken out of 80. Tap water is now pleasant to drink. Thank you, I recommend.

Despite good packaging, 2 out of 10 sticks were broken in 2.... Regarding the use, which is to purify water and improve its taste, it seems to work, to be seen over time.
