Unclear sending data and subject to qui-proquo: No notification of sending by sent by ORINKO, but receipt of an e-mail message sent by ESLAB whose e-mail address and company name displayed is DOCK AVENUE. This seems strange and makes one suspicious! Since neither "ESLAB" nor "DOCK AVENUE" refer to ORINKO in this e-mail, the message seems to be a fraudulent e-mail. We therefore avoid clicking on the link sending to the tracking of the package. There are so many risks (phishing; ransomware; identity theft...) Please note that the supplier is not ORINKO, but ESLAB and that the shipment is done by DOCK AVENUE who chooses the carrier. In other words, ORINKO should at least display the names of ESLAB and DOCK AVENUE on its site or "clearly" mention them at the time of the order. For the rest, nice site.

As for the maintenance of the binchotan and ceramic beads, there are different opinions: cleaning from 1 month to 3 months according to the sources. Who to trust? Maybe depending on their use... BURBAN F.

Upon receipt of my package, I was surprised by the size of the coals. A mistake on my part, possible. I think that the dimensions of the elements should be more explicit to avoid this kind of surprise. I have a two liter decanter and I have to put 2 pieces in it for 8 hours of treatment. Otherwise, the taste and purity of the water are perfect.

Hello, I give the rating of 3 simply because it is difficult to access the essential information about the coals. I suggest you write a summary such as Product Name, Number in Container, size of coals and especially the number of liters filterable per coal, under the product picture. I tear my hair out every time to know how many coals and of what size, how many boxes, I have to buy for my 8 liter bottles. I spend at least an hour re-reading everything each time. Hello, I put only 4 stars because I have difficulty to evaluate the benefits of the charcoal. Besides, a small problem, given its lightness, it tends to rise in the carafe, so it is partially immersed ... is there a way to keep it deeper?

The water tastes like tap water and yet I took the grey and pink beads. Maybe I should take activated carbon in addition to the pearls. For the moment I don't drink the water directly but I use it to make herbal teas or to cook.

The charcoal sticks I ordered float in the carafe even after 1 night of soaking and 2 water changes. I had to boil them for 10', to try to change their density, and they broke. I miss the Japanese binchotan; not happy with these purifying activated carbons.
