I bought iron-on labels in 2 websites because I couldn't decide. They are much better in terms of design and adhesive. They are also much better to use (they are a bit longer than others but they are narrow). Therefore they fit perfectly for all clothes (including socks).

The thermoadhesive labels I ordered arrived a couple of days late but are really good. They stick with a quick swipe of an iron and withstand both hand washing and the washing machine without losing color or getting ruined.
