Nothing to do with the sea, I work in the vineyards in Alsace. Need a solid waterproof jacket (risk of tears due to cut threads). Sincerely I recommend the jacket and pants fabric Nilpêche. Since I wear these items I can stay hours in the rain without getting wet and I have already hung up my jacket without tearing it.
