I ordered original Mercruiser belts and received adaptable belts at the price of the originals as an unprofessional.

Response from Pieces Bateaux Published on 13/07/2023

Hello,
We are surprised by your feedback.
We informed you on June 22 that due to a global cyber attack on Mercury, it was not possible for us to provide you with Mercury belts.
We offered you alternative belts that we sent to you on June 26. You were free to refuse our proposal but you accepted it. We would have refunded you then.
Mercury is not a manufacturer of belts, the products sent meet all the same quality criteria. Mercury services are now operational. If you wish to exchange or refund, you can return the belts in their original packaging.
Sincerely,
The Boat Parts Team.

Hello,
You ordered 2 items. These are intended for different engine powers.
If they concern the same engine, one of the two items should indeed not be suitable.
Our sales department will contact you again.
Best regards.

Overall nothing to say, just unlucky a part of the order was missing and blocked the rest, too bad not to have been contacted by phone to resolve it more quickly.

Order respected within the deadlines, however, Colissimo delivery was terrible. I was absent during the delivery and didn't know where my package was, no notice on where to find it. It should have been dropped off at the nearest relay depot to my home, but I found it on the opposite side of my home, north of Rennes, over 4 km away, not normal!!!! And with a lot of trouble.

I ordered flaps that were not the right ones. I contacted the site for a return. The response was quick and positive. As soon as received, the refund was made. I only give 4 stars for the shipping costs being too high for these small items.
