Very nice boxes well filled. I was very happy when I saw the size of the bottles I was afraid they would be too small but for a tasting it's more than correct. They realized they forgot the gift package and it was sent to me afterwards with an email to inform me. Very satisfied with customer service and the box looks very classy.

The gift envelope and the note were forgotten and were supposed to be sent back by post quickly. I waited a week and still nothing then I left for the holidays so I had to make my own note and package... There must have been a postal delay, probably due to the holidays.

I find it a shame that the containers are plastic, it detracts from the quality of the product. Moreover, I unfortunately came across a rum (African agricultural) that I did not like at all. The other four were however very good. I hope to have better luck next time.

From my point of view, at this percentage, it's a disappointment. The nose is either too subtle for us (that's surely the explanation) or poor compared to other Caribbean molasses. Similarly, on the palate, the Diplo SF version is ultimately unsurprising: okay, it's rum, it's fine, it's round, but nothing, in our opinion (as novices) distinguishes it from its competitors, especially at this price (still affordable). After a second glass, a long conversation, and slight or frank sips, it remains a unanimous failure. Really. Too bad. I should have avoided buying it (it will stay in its bottle for a long time!). Worse: it's not really good (okay, it's subjective). ?? Mount Gay 1703 old cask. Personally, I started with a preconceived notion: I am a fan of Mount Gay since a (distant) visit to Barbados (and in New Zealand, but that's another story) and I am an absolute fan of this rum (the XO in particular, simple and complex at the same time). Everything and anything on the finish or the return (from smoked coconut to candied lemon - ha ha ha -, passing through molasses caramel and smoked wood!). A real success! In short, I fear I will order another bottle quite quickly. ??
