Ordered as a Christmas gift, we didn't even dare to give it... Extremely low-cost packaging (unattractive cardboard box, plastic bottles, leaking caps) in short, nothing to make you want to taste. Saving on packaging to improve the quality of the rums offered is an acceptable commercial technique... EXCEPT that none of the rums are really worth it! It's a matter of taste, you might say... but for rums whose bottles are sold for up to €120, I expected much better... In short, absolutely to avoid! Update 01/06: Very responsive and understanding customer service. They offered us a commercial gesture regarding the leaking caps and everything was resolved quickly.

The samples are meant for tasting, plus you chose Jamaican rums which are quite particular (indeed, it's a matter of taste, we love them). Most people like the presentation box. That said, we take all these comments into account. However, the leaking issue is not acceptable at all. Now it is probably too late, but we could have sent a replacement box and 'clean' samples if you had contacted us upon receipt of the package. Normally this happens very rarely, but recently we have had a few more cases, so the preparation team has now been instructed to check the proper sealing with each order. It is indeed necessary to distinguish between 'samples' (which you mostly ordered, either in glass or in PET depending on the case) and 'miniatures' (which are the ones that are photographed). The samples are really meant for tasting, while the miniatures are more for collecting (or for tasting as well, of course...). Everything is explained on the website, and it is difficult to miss the information: When you add a sample to your cart, it is indicated twice (right away and once in your cart): 'You have at least one sample in your cart, feel free to learn more about this offer.' Every time you add a sample to your cart, it says 'You have added one or more sample(s) to your cart: feel free to learn more about this offer.' with an invitation to click on 'Learn more.' And once in the cart, it says 'You have at least one sample in your cart, feel free to learn more about this offer.' with the same 'Learn more.' button. Everything is explained. But one can be in a hurry or not see it, which is understandable. What makes our site strong is that we offer almost all rums in the form of samples. They are indeed in P.E.T. (no breakage, preserves the rum very well, just like glass) and do not have the same label as the original bottles. Very few rums are available in the form of 'miniatures' which you can find here: https://www.rhumattitude.com/cave/?pa_contenance=5-cl A lot of rum enthusiasts find a way to taste almost any rum with us. Regarding the leaking bottles, it is very rare and there is no way to detect it beforehand or to prevent this kind of incident. It is a defect related to the bottle's closure system. I am disappointed with the size of the bottles. I thought they would be a bit bigger. I had bought a subscription as a Christmas gift but it still looks very small....so I didn't dare to give it. 6: I ordered 2 boxes. One arrived quickly in the countryside at a relay point, the other did not arrive on time for Christmas in Paris and the tracking did not work and no one could give me precise information. It's a shame. The box is very simple for a Christmas gift but at least the packaging is optimized. I would have probably preferred glass bottles... The rum selection is original, which is still the heart of the box, so that's positive. I hope the next deliveries will go better.

The spirits are perfectly preserved, it avoids breakage and glass would force us to sell the box at a higher price. Regarding the labels, they are glued by hand. Everything is artisanal but that certainly does not justify poorly done work => we are therefore open to a photo for feedback that we will pass on to the logistics team, it's very useful for us to improve. Finally, the rums are the right ones, it's guaranteed 100% it concerns our credibility... The P.E.T. does not alter the rum at all; on the contrary, it prevents breakage and allows us to sell the box at a lower price than if it were glass. As for the 5th rum offered, it is random. The principle of the box is to discover different types of rum and see what we like and what we like less. So it's normal, and you won't always like all the rums in the boxes. The Chamarel Exotic Spices Rum is in accordance with my order. However, the carrier 'GLS' does not keep its commitments and does not respect customers: Day 1: delivery announced on the website... which does not happen! Day 2: no more delivery forecast on the website! Day 3: Delivery without announcement, but we are absent!
