Choice, responsiveness, well-designed site, but the cardboard box for the small bottles is poorly secured... in 2 shipments, both boxes were half open upon arrival in my mailbox. Fortunately, the shipments were complete, but come on, change the format, the cardboard, but tie it better!

To summarize the process for an order to be delivered to Switzerland: 1) you do not pay French VAT for shipments to Switzerland so that you do not have the 'double penalty' (so you pay 20% less than the price displayed on the site, which is inclusive of tax) 2) We explain at the time of ordering that you will have to pay Swiss customs duties. The delivery price for Belgium has not changed, and free shipping is still at 140 euros (which seems unusual for French spirits sales sites). As for the packaging, we have been protecting the bottles in the same way for years according to a proven protocol (breakage <1/1000 knowing that there is insurance anyway). We can always protect better, but some devices are very expensive even though they are not significantly more effective in case of shock, and they inevitably affect the selling price in one way or another.

Thank you for your comment. This box must still remain accessible to the greatest number of people because many of our customers discover the world of rum with our box. However, the high alcohol content deters more than one. With the May box, we took a risk because 3 of the 4 rums were 45 degrees or more, hence the Oksen cinnamon, sweet in this case, to 'compensate'. As a reminder, a few years ago, most aged rums were between 40 and 45 degrees. We regret more than one that has disappeared since... In the June box, there was Rivière du Mât, which is a very expressive rum, although at 40 degrees, and not flat at all. I believe we can say the same about Karukera aged rum. The July box may disappoint you if you are a fan of 'strong' rums because it is balanced between strength and sweetness, as we usually do. I am really disappointed with the packaging... The labels are poorly stuck on the bottles, I received a whole email to proceed with a verification of the bottles upon delivery (no breakages, etc...) so I expected glass bottles but they are plastic... And the quantity, although announced, is really less... I find 200 euros is too expensive!!! Even for 6 months.
