I was very disappointed with my experience this time! I booked to hire from Val d'isere and when I arrived to collect my skis the shop was closed. The other branches in the village were also closed! It wasted 2 hours of our first day trying to locate ski hire even though I had already paid with ski republic!
Deplorable customer service, for skiing at Ski Republic on the snow front in Val d'Isere. I was welcomed with a lot of contempt. Despite the patience I showed, I was spoken to like a dog. I have been going there for years and well I will not return

If I get a refund due to the store not opening, I might give a favorable review, for now, a catastrophic experience. The store does not open on time, no notice, no response to the phone... how to start a vacation badly, not having skis at the beginning of your stay!

Good evening, I am not satisfied at all. Indeed, the amount was collected by Ski Republic, however when I presented myself at the store I was very poorly received by the seller who reproached me for having rented the day before and that consequently he had no skis to provide me. He also indicated that he did not refund anything and that I had to manage on the website. While I can understand that a late rental cannot be fulfilled, the seller's attitude was very aggressive and in no way helpful. Following this, I sent a refund request on the Ski Republic website, I hope it will go smoothly.

I booked the sensation pack. Got skis that were shaking at any speed faster than a pizza. Asked for replacement, shown a model that they had and I liked, got something that was way too tall for me, being told that 'those are for speed'. They were for speed, as they only moved straight downhill, anything else meant I had to walk. I feel like the service is good only if you are a pro otherwise you will be taken for a fool and receive some junk 15 year old stock.

Non-existent technical expertise – Doubtful Prestige/multi-purpose range Expert skier (48 years of practice, Bronze Chamois obtained at a young age), I rented supposedly high-end equipment. The experience was deplorable: • Skis: They tried to impose 158 cm skis on me (for my 170 cm), under the pretext of a generic rule of "-15cm". This is an aberration for a skier of my level in this price range. I had to insist heavily to get 164 cm skis. • Boots: Provided with a flex of 85, totally unsuitable and too soft for aggressive skiing. But I was tired of debating. Result: I spent the week tightening the buckles to the maximum to compensate for the lack of precision. The staff applies beginner standards to experienced skiers. If you are looking for quality equipment and technical advice commensurate with the "Prestige"/high-end price, look elsewhere. Store to avoid.

Regarding the equipment, 158 cm skis were initially prepared based on the information provided during the reservation. Nevertheless, in order to adapt to your preferences, several changes were made in-store, allowing you to test different models and lengths, up to a final ski of 163 cm.
Regarding the boots, a first model with a flex of 110 was proposed to you. Following your request related to the fit, a more adjusted and recent pair was provided to you, in a logic of comfort and precision.
Our approach is precisely to adapt the equipment to the profile and expectations of each skier, while respecting technical and safety standards. The exchanges made in-store went in this direction, with several adjustments made to meet your requests.
Finally, we note that no dissatisfaction was reported to us during your visits to the store, despite several exchanges during your stay.

Very unpleasant welcome. Mediocre skis. Lack of transparency and clarity in pricing (ski locker offered without the price being announced or displayed - for information, it's 12 euros per day, which is as much as renting a pair of skis with boots...).

Worn skis like this are really disappointing to offer for rent. Salomon skis. Given the rental price, I am very disappointed. I haven't seen a single pair of skis in such a state during my stay.

In terms of location. Ski Republic is located at the foot of the residence where we stayed, at the foot of the ski lifts so it’s perfect. Except that the ski rental is deplorable, skis that keep coming off and getting out of adjustment in the middle of the descent! Risk of injury +++ After returning to the ski rental shop to explain our problem, the staff only found to say that it was the weather... It should be noted that we were 4 people renting skis from them, 3 of whom had issues with their skis.

I am very disappointed with the equipment I rented. The snowboard was okay, but the bindings were of poor quality. I had to change the bindings on the first day because my feet were coming loose as the bindings were not sturdy. The snowboard boots were catastrophic; they hurt my feet horribly. Similarly, I had to change them after the first day as my ankles were red, and despite changing shoes, the situation remained the same. I had to go rent other shoes from another rental company. After this bad experience, I hope the equipment will be renewed on your side.

I recently booked from the 9th -14th March and the invoice and confirmation has come as 7-12th- I have emailed the team and had no reply yet
I'm sorry, I don't see your first email in our inbox. I wasn't able to change the dates in time. And once the booking has started, I can no longer modify it. I can give you a credit note for the unused days of the 7th and 8th, however, you'll need to go directly to the store to book the additional day of March 14th !

Easy order but no customer service, do not take the Carre+ insurance, Carbon tells you in-store that they do not manage it and therefore you have to pay everything to open a file in case of breakage, very mediocre material and I could go on with the follow-up of the boots ...

Reservation made online for ski equipment. Unfortunately, in-store, they had no stock left. I found myself without equipment and with a pass. I am waiting for the result of the online refund request. Do not book online with Ski Republic. We were dozens to leave the store empty-handed.

Ski Republic does not provide a payment certificate following the online reservation. Unfortunately, my son broke a ski during his week and it is therefore impossible for me to use my Visa Premier guarantee without this certificate. All merchant sites offer it except Ski Republic. I would never recommend renting from them to someone close to me.

Ski equipment is super low level - not appropriate to the lower price as it should be lower wither current skis condition. Not recommended
I had taken out Carré+ insurance with Republic Ski, but I never received any document confirming this insurance. In the event of an accident, the rental company was not even aware of its existence, making it impossible to take any responsibility. Total lack of transparency and communication. Very disappointed, I won't use them again.

I had to modify an item (ski boots) in my order, placed a few months ago. By deleting the boot rental displayed at 59€ in my order summary, I ended up with only 29.5€ deducted from my overall order. However, the discount codes were the same. I find this very average, and displaying "free cancellation" on your site is quite simply misleading advertising. I've been going through your site for several years now, but my experience last year (ski boots in very poor condition because there was no stock available when I changed my boots a day after my arrival) at La Plagne Bellecote, as well as this year's experience, will certainly be the reason for my loyalty to Ski republic.
